(2 weeks later)
(Yup another time skip)

Today I woke up with a big yawn and rubbed my eyes. I was so excited to go see Killua and Leorio today! Oh and Ging too of course! He's been visiting everyday with them too. He's actually an amazing guy.. I'm not sure why Aunt Mito had little trust in him.

Speaking of Aunt Mito, I did go back to her the day after I had met Ging for the first time. She was very worried, and I felt bad for running away like I did. But she apologized for everything she had said and now we are closer than ever before. I'm actually considering telling her about my human friends.. but I'm also hesitant because she could snap.

After thinking for a while I got up and swam out to the main area. I saw Aunt Mito organizing some things and I smiled.

"Good morning Aunt Mito! What are you doing?" I asked and swam up next to her.

She smiled to me when she saw me come up.

"Oh hey Gon, I'm just organizing out food supply a bit. It's a little bit of a mess.. also if you don't mind, while you're out today could you get some more food? We are running low." Aunt Mito asked and I nodded.

"Of course!! I'll try to get your favorite too!" I say happily and swam around with lots of energy.

"Oh before you leave, I wanted you to know that I love you so much Gon.. please stay safe." She said and kissed my forehead gently.

I giggled and hugged her.

"I love you too Aunt Mito! I'll stay safe don't worry! I'll be back before dark!" I told her before swimming out of our home and heading towards the beach.

Kurapika too has been meeting up with us at the beach. And he's actually beginning to trust Killua and Leorio a bit more! He did meet Ging but never said anything to him. Maybe it's a grudge? Who knows.. I just hope he trusts him soon. After all Ging is my father, he's a good man!

I passed by the drop of just then and realized that Kurapika wasn't waiting there as per usual. So Im guessing that he must have gone out to the beach early or something.

I kept going and swam faster out of excitement. Everything has been going so well!! The next step here is maybe bringing Aunt Mito to meet them all.. but that's going to be a long time I think. Right now I wouldn't know how her reaction would be. She's been in a good mood, but she still hates humans with a passion because of what happened to my mom..

"Hey.. what's up with you, you've been really off lately. It's starting to bore me."

"Oh, sorry about that. It's just I've noticed something very weird in the ocean this morning. I was out doing my normal loop on the boat to see if I could catch anything. But nothing came up. I did get something weird in the radar though.. I'm pretty sure it's what Illumi told us about.."

"Wait what did Illumi tell you? I never heard anything from him. All he did was come to my place and ask for a beer yesterday-."

"Oh, well he told me he's been watching over his little brother that he kicked out a few weeks ago. And he said that his little brother was hanging out with a mermaid or something? I didn't believe him at first until he showed me pictures he took. He's a little creepy.. but he told me that if I ever saw the mermaid thing I'd have to catch it and notify him immediately. He apparently really wants it away from his little brother.."

"Wow, it's hard to believe but if you saw real proof then I won't question it.. so what should we do? That weird thing you saw I'm guessing was that mermaid Illumi spoke of."
