Killua pov

We had finally completed our tasks, and it was dawn. I was surprised we got everything done so fast... but Gon and the humans weren't back yet. Which worried me. Did they get caught? Killed?! Kidnapped?? I just hoped they were at least safe and unharmed.

As if the universe had heard my concern, I heard some voices approaching our hide out. I peeked out from behind the rock I was working at along side Leorio, and I gasped. Gon and the others were back! But gon had some bandages on his arms and neck. He also had a scratch along his cheek. What the hell happened now?!

"Gon! What happened?" I say and swam over to him.

Gon smiled when he saw me and gave me a big hug, I of course returned the embrace with my own.

"We got all the weapons we needed! So we should be ready now!" Gon cheered and I nodded.

"Very good, but.. you didn't answer my question. What happened out there?" I once again asked him while brushing my fingers against the scratch on his cheek.

Gon frowned.

"We came across one of the creatures... named Pouf.. I got into a fight with him. But I killed him, so we don't need to worry about him anymore." Gon said to me.

I was surprised. Gon killed?! I mean, he got rid of one of the creatures for us.. although, I never expected him to do something like that. He's such a caring person.

"I'm glad you got out ok.. but please be more careful." I say and ruffled his hair.

Gon nodded with a slight grin and we both then headed over to where everyone was meeting up now. I had Gon hugging my side, and I wrapped my arm around him.

"Alright, it looks like we have finished everything. Now... we need to head out towards their base. If we are to make it there by dawn tomorrow, we need to leave this afternoon." Shoot explained to us all the plan.

But Biskey suddenly swam up beside him and grinned.

"Before we go though, I would like to introduce someone I came across while watching the borders. Meet Kalluto!" Biskey announced, and a feminine looking male came swimming up beside her. He had shoulder length indigo colored hair. His skin was pale, and he wore some flower patterned robes. His eyes also matched the indigo color of his hair. That's when I realized...

That's my little brother!!!?

"Kalluto?! What are you doing here?" I yelled, making everyone look over to me.

Kalluto saw me exclaim in surprise, making him chuckle.

"Hush up now big brother... you wouldn't want me putting you back at the feet of Illumi now... would you?" Kalluto said with a rather smug smirk.

"Shut up! I haven't seen you in months! Even when I was still with the family at home I never saw you! Where did you go?! And how the hell did you end up here?!" I screamed, making Gon hug my side tighter.

"Oh so you're saying you missed me? Interesting.. but anyway, I went on my own path. I joined a group of thieves, that are actually pretty smart. They treated me better than you ever did. I ended up here because I knew of the war sparking up between mermaids and some weird population of monsters. So I decided to check it out. Now here we are." Kalluto explained, but my face was still fuming with anger.

"I didn't miss you!! You treated me like shit just like everyone else in our family did!" I scoffed and Gon tried to calm me down, but it was no use.

"You think you were treated like shit?! Well so was I. I was neglected, and ignored. Especially by you Killua! You never even acknowledged my presence! So shut up about being mistreated.." Kalluto hissed at me, and I frowned.
