Kurapika pov

It was early afternoon now, the usual time when me and Gon met up at the drop off to go to the beach. I looked around quite often to see if he would arrive. But he never came.. I felt worry go deep into my skin when it was an hour past time. H-he must be sleeping in.. ya. I'll wait another hour and see... I'm sure of it.

Another hour went by, still nothing. That's when I began to cry a little to myself.

"N-no Gon please don't tell me you did anything stupid!" I sobbed to myself and shook in my skin.

Suddenly my nose caught the smell of blood. After all, I am part Shark, so I could smell blood from a mile away. I quickly went zooming off through the water and followed the scent. I was going north of the drop off, away from the beach, and way far off from the reef. About two miles out, I found something that terrified me to my core.

Below me, I smelled the blood strongly from some coral. I went down to it and searched for what could be causing the scent. I came across a big green scale... it was Gon's?!!! The scale had a little bit of skin still attached to it, and blood was everywhere around it like a clot.

I couldn't hold it back now, and I screamed.

"God damnit!!!! Whoever hurt him will feel my wrath!!!!" I screamed as loud as I could.

I quickly grabbed the scale in my hand gently before swimming off back towards the beach. I needed to tell the others immediately that Gon was missing.. and I found  bloody remains of him. Well.. it was a small remain, but still enough to be proof.

I knew for sure that they would freak out much like I did.. Killua on the other hand would freak out way worse than any of them. I wouldn't be surprised if he went on a rampage and went on a purge looking for him.

It didn't take long for me to get back to the beach, and when I arrived I already saw their worried expressions. When I rose up to the surface in front of them, they frowned when they saw that Gon wasn't with me.

"Hey Kurapika.. have you seen Gon? He hasn't come yet.. did he sleep in?" Ging asked and I gulped.

I looked over to see Killua having a panic attack on the inside. But he was keeping his composure well. Although his fast breathing and wide worried eyes could still catch my attention.

"You guys need to stay calm when I tell you this..." I said sadly with my eyes becoming dark.

The others froze at my change of tone and shivered.

"Gon is gone, I can't find him anywhere. He didn't show up at the drop off for hours on end.. but I caught onto a trail of blood. And I had my suspicions of it. So I followed the scent to find a small remain of him.." I paused and lifted up the big bloody scale in my hand that was about the size of half my palm, "I didn't find anything else.. just this..." I finished and looked up slowly, fearing their response.

Leorio had completely become frozen like cold ice. His eyes were widening and tears were going down his horrified face. Ging on the other hand covered his mouth and anger went into his brown eyes. He was scowling and punched the wood beside him with a scream.

Killua though... sat there, wide eyed. His body began to shake, and tears flowed down his pale cheeks. His hands also clenched into tight fists, while his teeth chattered. Suddenly the young teen stood up and screamed with all of his might.

"GOD DAMNIT!!! WHO TOOK HIM?!! I SWEAR... I WILL SLAUGHTER ANYONE WHO TOUCHES HIM WITH A BLADE, I WILL MURDER THEM IN THEIR SLEEP!! WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT?!! WE ARE GOING OUT TO THE WATER NOW!!!" Killua screamed and he stomped off.

I gasped when I saw him tug out an old motor boat from the tree line. It must have always been there..

"W-what happened to h-him? He's a-such a sweet boy I... HE DOESNT DESERVE ANY PAIN!!" Leorio sobbed end I frowned.

I gently pulled myself up onto the dock beside him and hugged his arm to give him comfort. He only sobbed more though and hugged me tight.

"M-my son is strong.. he had to have fought back against whatever got him... I only hope that he's alive... if not I'll have to commit a murder.." Ging scowled and he stomped onto the wood angrily.

He then ran over to Killua and helped him get the old motor boat into the water.

"G-guys.. what are you-."

"Kurapika... I WILL SEARCH THIS WHOLE DAMN OCEAN TO FIND MY BEST FRIEND YOU HEAR ME?!!! IF YOU GET IN MY WAY ILL FORCE YOU OUT OF MY PATH!!!" Killua screamed and he started the motor to the boat.

It took a few moments, but the engine started up eventually and both Ging and Killua got inside. Leorio then cleared his face of tears and went in as well.

"Kurapika... will you come with us?" He asked with a sniff.

I sighed and shook my head.

"No... I'm going to go search south to see if there's any evidence there.. we have to cover more ground. So it's the smartest thing to do." I say and they all nodded.

"Kurapika.. stay safe out there.. we don't want to lose you too.." Ging said with a still slightly angered tone.

"Alright I'll stay safe, same goes to you. Gon needs you guys.. especially now more than ever." I say and Killua was breathing faster and more tears flooded his face.

He then began to hiccup and sob and he screamed up at the sky in agony. I frowned and swam over to his side of the boat. I gently set my hand onto his which was on the rim.

The boy froze and looked at me with a pained and tearful face.

"Killua.. he needs you more than anything... please don't get hurt.. Gon needs you, he loves you more than anyone else I've seen his smile around you.. I even think he's in love with you.. find him Killua, find him please.." I started crying at the end and sniffed.

Killua grabbed my hand gently and nodded.

"I'll find him... I swear on my life that I'll find him. He means everything to me, without him the world is nothing. I have to find him, I will find him. Don't worry Kurapika, I'll avenge him.." Killua said the last part menacingly and I gulped.

"We better head out now if we are going to get far, so let's go." Ging said with a sniff as he wiped away his tears that were also appearing.

Leorio agreed and he had the boat go out north where I had gone before. I also swam off and went south.

Gon please.. stay alive for a bit longer, we'll find you and save you. I promise....
