Killua pov
(Monday)

Today was the day, that Leorio would bring Ging to the beach. He and Gon could finally reunite. And I was so excited to get to see it for myself. I wanted Gon to be happy, and this will definitely please him!

Currently I was waiting on the docks already for the other two to arrive. At the same time, I was nervous. I had a big part to play in this too.. Gon will most likely show up before them, so I'll have to tell him that someone else is coming with Leorio. So he doesn't get scared and swim away. But I still can't give away who it is. It's a surprise for him!

Inside of my pocket, I was fidgeting with the beautiful shell that Gon had given me a while back. I cared about it a lot and kept it with me at all times. During lunch at school I would take it out and just look at it. And every time it never failed to bring a smile on my face. Of course other people would make fun of me and tease me about it. I taught them their lesson though afterwards with just a few swift hits to the face and stomach. So long story short, I beat the hell out of them.

I would never let anyone else get their hands on this shell. It's one of my most prized possessions.

While sitting and thinking to myself, I heard a splash. I looked up with a grin to see Gon swimming up. He had a bigger smile on his face than the past few days, so I think he's starting to move on from that situation with his Aunt. Which I was worried he'd stay caught in it for a while, but he's strong!

"Killuba!!!" He cheered and hugged my calf with happiness.

"Hey Gon! You seem to be doing much better today and that makes me glad!" I told him with a slight blush.

"Ya! I feel so much better today. I think I might even go back to the reef tomorrow to make up with my Aunt about things. I can't just hide for ages, Y'know?" Gon explained.

I agreed and ruffled his hair. That's when I remembered what I had to tell him.

"Oh yes, by the way Leorio is bringing someone else he knows today. There's no need to be scared of this new person coming, you'll love him." I say and Gon nodded.

"Alright.. b-but what if he isn't nice.." gon said with a pouty lip.

I chuckled a little at how adorable he was, but went back to ruffling his hair.

"Trust me it'll be fine. If he does anything to hurt you I'll just beat his ass. C'mon Gon you already know how many faces these fists have destroyed!" I said as if I was all tough and flexed my arms.

Gon giggled and he clapped his hands.

"Oh ya wasn't the number like a million?" Gon said and I nodded.

"Correct my friend, you're so smart!!!! Oooo you're so cute too!!!" I said with a weird cute voice to him.

During the last sentence I squished his cheeks together and booped his nose with the tip of my pointer finger. Gon in response giggled like a toddler. But his little toddler laugh brought me instant serotonin. Anything he does just brings it to me actually.

Suddenly I heard two male voices talking and the snapping of twigs. They are here! I then looked to Gon and he got afraid.

"Hey they are here, it's alright don't worry. If you want you can stay below the water for a bit to calm down and I'll explain stuff to them before you come back up. Does that sound good?" I say with care.

Gon nodded frantically and dived back down into the water. I saw him hide and I smiled. Gon and his father are closer to each to her now than they ever have been in a long time. He's right at the tree line!
