Gon pov
A few days later...

It's been a few days already since I've joined this army to fight against those creatures. We actually came up with brilliant ideas to add onto our plan! I'm so ready to take down those monsters... they took Kite away from me. I will make them pay for that.

Currently I swam around the main area with hundreds of others. Also we've gained quite a few more numbers. So that helps heighten our odds. Although.. it's been a little too quiet out there lately. I'm starting to think that maybe they've caught onto us. Even so, they don't know where our base is. Right?

While thinking to myself about any possible scenario, I looked down at some shells that were sprawled upon the sand. They reminded me again of Killua. I missed him... I hope I didn't hurt him too much. Over all, I want him to understand that I can't just leave my kind to fend for themselves. I have to help!

"Everyone!!!"

Out of no where, a mermaid came zooming into the caverns. She looked scared out of her mind.

"Whoa whoa calm down Mrs! What is going on?!"

I turned to see Shoot had emerged out of a storage room we had set up. He went over to the woman and calmed her down. Her yellow tail slowly eased its frantic movements. Then she looked up to Shoot.

"T-they know.." she whispered, but yet everyone could still understand her.

Suddenly, everything began to shake. Rocks crumbled from the top of the caverns. Making the water become infested with dust and rock particles. Eventually we were able to regain our vision.

That's when a large Boulder came crashing in. It destroyed the walls completely, and was about to crush us all. But I had quick thinking along with a few others. So we zoomed out of the way and managed to escape the now destroyed base. But don't be tricked from my bravery. I was afraid...

"Is everyone ok?!"

I turned around and squinted my eyes to try to see through the debris.

I caught my eyes onto a group of about ten mermaids who made it out, so I zoomed over. The group consisted of Biskey, Knuckle, Shoot, two children, and the rest were older mermaids.

"Gon! Thank goodness you're alright! Did you see any others?!" Biskey exclaimed with worry before zooming over to me.

She patched up some scratches I had, and frowned.

"I-I didn't see anyone else..." I say sadly.

"Gon.. you're hurt badly... how do you not realize that?" She said to me.

I froze at her remark, so I took out a small hand mirror Killua had given me a while back. Oh god... she was right. How the hell didn't I notice?! Half of my face was bloody from being gashed by rocks and the rest of my body was covered in gashes too.

"Wow... I guess I have a big pain tolerance." I say with shock and put the hand mirror away.

Biskey sighed and she looked into my eyes with more concern. I knew that having a pain tolerance like that could be dangerous.. but maybe it's for the better. That way I wouldn't get in the way of anything.

"Please be more aware though of your health. I know that you don't really care for your own well being but.. please take into consideration that your health matters too." Biskey said to me and I nodded.

"Ya you have a point..." I mumbled, then looked over to everyone else.

"Obviously... we've been spotted. I'm not sure how. But we need to move." Knuckle scowled while clenching his fists tightly.
