Gon pov

I felt so happy that I was able to repay Killua for his love and care. Even then I'll still treat him the same way. Currently we both sat on the beach now with Leorio a few days later. We all had a long day, and just wanted to relax together. I laid in the sun with my tail halfway into the ocean water. Killua sat behind me and patted my head here and there. Leorio meanwhile sat a few feet away and read a book of some sort.

Kurapika and Mito were still at Ging's.. I missed them so much. I hope they are doing ok...
Speaking of that... I haven't seen or heard from Biskey for quite a long time. She could have gotten hurt or something! But I couldn't freak out, I need to stay calm.

"Hey Killuba?" I say and he looked down to me.

"Ya? What is it?" He asked and I sighed.

"We haven't heard anything from Biskey in a while... do you think she's ok?" I asked him, which had him frown.

"Honestly I'm not sure... anything could have happened to her. Maybe she'll come soon. She's supposed to keep us updated." Killua said.

I nodded before looking back out to the waves.

While looking out there, I sensed something. Something that was powerful, evil... the new presence made me squeal in fear and I curled up into a little ball.

"Whoa whoa Gon what's up bud?!" Killua frantically got me into his arms and I buried my face into his shirt.

"S-something is coming... and it's really powerful..." I shivered in terror from the power I sensed. Even just imagining this power being unleashed had me cowering.

"Could it be the... king that Pitou was talking about?" Leorio asked.

"It very well could be... if so we need to be prepared to fight." Killua said and I quickly stood up on my feet.

"N-no! This is where I set the boundaries ok? I don't want you two getting involved with a mermaid war! They can get pretty gruesome and fast!! The last time a war happened between mermaids, almost half of the population was destroyed!" I shouted at them, making them both widen their eyes.

"Wait what? When did that happen?" Killua asked.

"It happened around twenty years ago I believe. It's called the War Of Red Waters. It was gruesome and very violent. It was the most chaotic the mermaid population had ever been. It's called that because... for days the water on the battle field was stained red.. luckily it was far out enough in the ocean for no humans to notice. But many were impaled with spears, and beheaded with dark magic. I already have a sense that this potential war against these weird creatures, will be much worse." I explained the story behind the war to them. I could see them shiver word after word.

"Wow... well we still need to do something to stop them ok? We aren't just going to stand aside and let your home be destroyed!" Leorio shouted as he stood up.

I became angry and felt my eyes glow green along with my scales on my arms.

"I will not let you get involved with it anymore than you already have ok?! I just... it would be very likely that you two would die out there. You wouldn't last long..." I say sadly.

Leorio scoffed and was about to yell at me again, but Killua stopped him with a simple glare on his face.

"Leorio that's enough... and Gon we will respect your words but- if anything happens to get you In danger, we will immediately come to your aid got it? Even if you push us away we will be at your side." Killua said.

I sighed and folded my arms over my chest. It would be impossible to convince them. But I would find a way to keep them safe, I swear on it.

It was silent now and I sat back down next to Killua. My heart beat faster, then I looked out to the waves. Well speak of the devil...
