I can't believe I didn't wake my entire household up a few days ago lmao

Baby occasionally breaks into my room in the middle of the night, but the problem is that she's extremely fast, and once she's inside, she won't leave!! So I have to rush over to the door before she pushes it open, but there's no warning or anything. I never hear her coming, I just hear her jump on the doorknob and I have mere seconds to run to the door and shut and lock it before she runs in

But I have to run around my bed and there's this really tight space between my bed and this glass cabinet lol, which is very stressful when you've literally JUST woken up, can't see, and everything's spinning lol

So I might've rammed straight into the cabinet and into a few other things before I made it to the door but at least I beat Baby lmfao-

It was so loud, it sounded like I crashed into literally everything in my room 😂 I can't believe I haven't noticed any bruises on me lmaooo

The anime me and Hannah are working on currently is Mob Psycho 100. I've seen it before but I don't remember anything so I would have to rewatch it before I could watch the second season, but Hannah's never seen it so we're watching it together

Just about all the characters are either hideous or middle schoolers so we're struggling to find someone to simp for lol, but we simped for Reigen today :)

There was a massage scene and-

So I, being a simp, turned to Hannah and said "I wouldn't mind him doing that to me"

We then proceeded to talk about how fine he is and how we simp for him and there was even a moan from the girl

And that's when I heard our dad in the hallway-

WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING 😭😂😂

I hope he didn't hear that lmfao

It's exactly a week until my 18th birthday

Is it too early to have a midlife crisis? 😂

I AM AN ADULT IN LITERALLY A WEEK AND IM NOT PREPARED

I CAN BUY ALCOHOL, I CAN DRIVE A CAR, I CAN ADOPT A BABY-

I'm scared ;w; It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't the first one in my friend group turning 18!! Well, Amalie already turned 18 but she's an exchange student in the US so she's not here and it's not the same ;-; I'll be the only 18 year old in my friend group for I don't even know how long, and it's not fun doing new legal things if you have no one to do it with! T_T

I just can't wait until my friends turn 18 so we can buy alcohol together and I can catch rides with them because I don't want to spend money on a car and I can't be bothered to get a license XD

Does anyone else dislike birthdays? 😅 I feel like you can have extremely low expectations and still be disappointed lol

Idk my birthdays just always suck and I dread them so much because I just feel sad and old 😂 I do like cake and gifts tho- but I hate the attention :( At least I'm getting money :D Though I won't let myself touch it because it's my college funds lol

Ok I'm sorry, I don't mean to be negative, turning 18 just feels scary and I'm not ready OwO 👉👈

Also, this is random but I remembered something today

I'm such an ass 😭😭😂

I have a friend who would get sleepy from alcohol and who would just sleep constantly after drinking lol

So at the last party (when I vomited lololol), I kept turning to her, smirking and asking "are you sleepy?"

AND I DID THAT LIKE FOUR TIMES AND SHE WAS STARTING TO GET IRRITATED 😭😭😭😂😂

I LIED IN MY LAST CHAPTER LMAOOO

I swear this is the last time for a while but there's something I forgot I wanted to talk about concerning The Hunger Games!! XD

The Hanging Tree song has been stuck in my head all week, and I realized that my favorite scene in all the movies was The Hanging Tree scene

It wasn't in the book because the books were told through Katniss' perspective so we could only ever see what she could see and she was cooped up in district 13 the majority of the time, so we never really got to see much of how Katniss affected the districts

So when we got to see:

1) in the first movie, when Katniss sang to Rue as she died, put flowers around her, did the sign etc and we got to see District 11's start of a rebellion

2) that one scene in the third or fourth movie (I think it was the third) where all these people are walking in the woods with Peacekeepers behind them, and they suddenly whistle the note and everyone scrambles up the trees before the bombs on the ground go off and kills the peacekeepers

And 3) when Katniss is singing The Hanging Tree and it switches over to a crowd of people singing it while marching

^ I loved those moments because they actually showed how much of an impact Katniss had on the people

So this is my favorite scene:

My second favorite scene is Katniss' speech where she says "Fire is catching. And if we burn, you burn with us"

The books were obviously better because when has a movie adaptation ever been better than the book lol, but I still think that the movies were really good :D Katniss was way more likable in the movies, Effie was actually important, and they showed those impactful scenes of the rebellions in the districts

But they gave up on characters like Haymitch, Finnick and Johanna and even Peeta wasn't done justice XD My biggest complaint though is how they didn't add the dark psychological aspect of characters like Finnick and Katniss falling apart, but I understand that they have to stay within the rating :>

But yeah, overall I think they were pretty good adaptations and I'm already dying to read the books again and watch the movies again XD
