The Path of a Shinobi (Reader x various)

Kaguya charged at us and a white light was emitting from her body and hundreds of fists emerged and collided with Naruto's chakra arms.

I went to higher ground as I held onto Sasuke and saw the collision of fists from above, but I flew above her and made sure to stay out of sight.

"Sasuke, now!" Yelled Naruto who was blown back from the attack against Kaguya.

Purple chakra surrounded Sasuke and formed his Susanoo. I let go of him as he dived towards Kaguya whose body was flowing with chakra.

His Susanoo had two blades on each hand and he intended to cut her down, but she raised her arm and as soon as she made contact with the blades, they started melting.

An explosion followed right after and we were all sent flying back, but I shielded myself with my wings and waited until it died down.

About ten seconds had passed before it did and uncovered myself and flew elsewhere to stay out of her range, but from a distance I could see Sasuke falling and I immediately went his way until he disappeared.

I stopped in my tracks and looked around until my name was called from above.

I looked up and saw Sasuke dangling in the air holding onto Naruto's ankle.

"I forgot you have a teleportation like jutsu now. You had me worried there," chuckled Naruto as he used on of the black orbs that was behind him to create a flat foothold.

I glided towards them and helped Sasuke step onto the foothold and remained right beside him.

"We've both benefited from the Six Paths' power. But having received it is meaningless unless we seal her away."

"Where is she anyways?" I asked as I warily shifted my gaze to and fro. There was a heavy cloud of black smoke in front of us and I flapped my wings and a gust of wind dispersed the smoke only to find the spot where she was at empty except for a disappearing bizarre black shaped hole.

A chill ran down my spine and the hairs on the back of my neck stood tall as I felt something sinister right behind us.

My body froze and I tried to move a muscle, but it was like someone had a hold on me. My body turned around on its own along with Naruto and Sasuke only for us to come face to face with Kaguya who had tears streaming down her pale cheeks.

She extended her arms and cupped their cheeks as she solemnly stared at the two boys.

Black liquid was escaping from the sleeves of her kimono and attached itself onto the two boys and covered half of their body.

"She's taking... our chakra," gritted Naruto.

I glanced over at the two who were itching to move yet remained level headed. I tried to change my eyes to my Mangekyo Sharingan, but I grunted when my eyes began to sting which made me deactivate them in an instant.

'I... I can't overdo it. I can't strain them or else...'

"Kaguya seems to see her two children when she looks at the two of you. Isn't that sweet?" spoke Black Zetsu who was attached to the two.

"Then why am I....stuck like this?" I muttered and Black Zetsu smirked.

"Oh you? Well, you're her granddaughter in law," he eerily smiled and I flinched at his words as the image of Indra came into mind.

"What?" Bewilderedly asked the two boys and I internally glared at Black Zetsu.

"My reincarnation is her granddaughter in law, but I'm not," I spat out.

"You're even standing right beside your reincarnated husband. Touching isn't it?" He cackled. "How does it feel to be so close to Indra's soul again?"

Sasuke and I glanced at each other from the corner of our eyes and I didn't know what to say when my eyes locked with his. His eyes were perplexed and filled with curiosity but something tugged at my heart when I stared at him.

I can only imagine how much our reincarnated souls have longed for each other.

While on the other hand, our blonde haired friend was feeling a sense of emptiness and... jealousy as he eyed the two of us.

Kaguya's gaze shifted from the two boys in front of her to me and she reached her hand out to me. I gulped as her hand came closer and closer, but was dumbfounded when she placed her hand on my head and caressed my (h/l) (h/c) hair. She somberly stared at me with her tear stained face.

"Kaguya seems to be fond of her new family member, but seeing (Y/n) go against her like her own two children who sealed her away devastates her."

Black liquid seeped from Kaguya's hand and attached itself onto the left half of my body. I could slowly feel my chakra being drained.

"I thought Super Gramps sealed the Ten Tails away?" Questioned Naruto.

'Did Hagoromo not tell them the same story he told me?'

"It appears you have the wrong idea."

"Just who and what are you, Black Zetsu?"

"I am Kaguya's child. I recorded everything that happened while Mother was gone and molded it as well. The tale of shinobi... is the tale of restoring Mother. Since you know Mother's name, that means you must have met Hagoromo. I knew it was possible depending on the power of the reincarnates. As well as receiving the power to seal away Mother."

"But Super Gramps never mentioned that!"

"You two know nothing. Although it's rare to see the reincarnates of Indra and Ashura cooperating this closely despite being at war with one another for another (L/n)," smirked Black Zetsu with all three of us remaining silent.

'I can't deny that. I've seen it all based on what Hagoromo showed me.'

"Now, let me tell you her tale while I suck out all your chakra. I don't have any candy but the puppet show is about to begin."
