"We'll eliminate them."

Jumping off the snake, Orochimaru slithered his way down as well with you as you stared down at Naruto. Looking down at his torn shirt you noticed Tsunade's necklace with the yang necklace you gave him. Grabbing a firm hold of your kunai you raised it up but quickly turned around and stabbed Orochimaru in the stomach. Your (e/c) eyes had turned deadly as you stared into his eyes.

"I won't let you hurt them. This power may consume me overtime and lead me down the wrong path but that path won't lead towards you!" Twisting the kunai further in you thanked your curse mark for this new enhanced strength you had.

Extending his neck out a little a sword had came out of his mouth. Feeling a push on your shoulder you were thrown down by someone. Looking up you saw Tsuande had taken the sword for you, impaling her on her chest.

"We will protect this boy." Letting out short breaths she looked over at you with a small smile.

"Why would you, one of the Sanin want to protect a lowly genin."

"By saving him I'm saving my home. You see.. this boy has been chosen by fate to become Hokage someday. And (F/n)..will be the one to help him achieve his goal."

"What nonsense. Who cares about Hokage only a fool would want to be Hokage."

"(Y/n) take care of Naruto for now. From now on I'm gambling everything too. I'm throwing my life in the line."

Orochimaru had unleashed the sword from his mouth and slashed Tsunade. Your mouth was agape as you watched her body make a loud thud once she hit the ground. Not caring about his old teammate he looked at you then Naruto. Bringing his sword down again you managed to catch it between your hands. Slicing your skin, small droplets of blood splashed onto the ground.

From behind you heard Tsunade beginning to move and stand up. Kicking Orochimaru away you noticed black markings begin to spread from the diamond on her forehead. "Ninja art: Mitotic Regeneration." The markings on her face began to disappear but staring in awe you saw her wounds began to heal by themselves.

I'll have to ask her to teach me that jutsu.

Looking at the three Sanins they all began to simultaneously do their summoning jutsu. Feeling yourself being elevated and different surface beneath you, beneath you was a giant slug with Tsunade in front of you.

"Take Naruto back below with Shizune. One of my slugs will accompany you so she could heal Naruto." Trying to get Naruto up, it was a bit more difficult compared to when he's actually conscious. Beside you a fairly medium sized slug appeared. Heaving him on top of her you watched as she slithered her way down to the ground.

Jumping off Tsunade's slug you appeared beside Shizune while you watched the battle go on. Their battle had waged on for awhile, unfortunately Orochimaru and Kabuto had managed to escape alive. Regrouping with the three Sanins you all decided to head back into town and let Naruto recover.

*Timeskip*

A few days had passed since Naruto's recovery and was informed about Tsunade accepting the position as Hokage. Stunned by the sudden turn of events he was insecure about Tsunade being Hokage.

"You sure are complaining about this even though I'm the beginning you got so worked up about her not accepting the position of Hokage," you said while crossing your arms.

"Yeah but shouldn't the Hokage be kind and wise like the old man use to be and she's..well mean and greedy." Adding more to the list you could see the evident anger on Tsunade's face. Clamping your hand over his mouth he kept muffling words and trying to remove your hand.

"YOU WANT TO TAKE THIS OUTSIDE KID?!"

Sighing to yourself it was déjà vu all over again. Heading outside with everyone Naruto and Tsunade had stood across against each other to attempt another fight.

Flicking his headband off again he thought she was going to flick his forehead but was met with a kiss on the forehead. Surprised at her action your mouth was hung open a little.

"You'll grow up to be a fine man."

"I'm not sure about that lady Tsuande," you said with a playful smile on your face. Naruto was baffled and grabbed onto your shoulders and began to shake you. "I'm kidding Naruto."

"Enough of that, let's all go home now." Following Jiraiya Sensei down the road, Naruto began to complain about not having anything to eat for the past few days.

"We'll go to Ichirakus when we get back okay?" With a gleeful smile he nodded quickly accepting your request.

"(Y/n)'s treating on ramen," yelled Jiraiya Sensei while picking up his pace.

"Really! Alright thanks (Y/n) you're the best!" Naruto gave you a quick hug and began to run up ahead with Jiraiya Sensei.

"H-hey I never said I'd treat!" Walking beside Tsunade and Shizune they merely gave you an awkward smile for their behavior.

"Hey lady Tsunade I was wondering if you'd someday teach me that jutsu of yours. The Mitotic Regeneration jutsu." Pondering about the idea, she knew you could probably master it but I'd take time.

"Sure, maybe soon I'll start teaching you. Who knows maybe I could also make you my apprentice instead of only relying on Jiraiya."

"I'll think about it." Walking down this path, you had a content smile on your face as you were heading back home. This was only the beginning of your journeys and knew you'd have to confront more challenging obstacles in the future.
