"In the end, your clan had succeeded in capturing me even if it resulted in some of their deaths. I came to hate your clan and other people along with Nine Tails."

"So that's what happened..." I mumbled now understanding what went down between the two of them, but also with my clan's history.

"That stupid fool," she grumbled.

"...You're afraid that he'll betray you again, huh?"

"He's done it once so he'll do it again!"

"How do you know that? He could've changed."

"Someone like him isn't going to change. I can't trust him. The same goes for his host."

"Naruto isn't the type to betray someone, so you can trust him."

"It will happen when you least expect it."

I was about to retaliate, but I heard a voice calling out to me which made me snap out of my subconscious.

"HELLOOOO! Earth to (Y/n)!!" Naruto waved his arms in front of me which I lightly pushed aside as I found myself back out on the battlefield.

"When did we get out?" I asked him.

"Not too long ago. I got us out," he responded, but quickly informed me that we had to remove a black rod that was on the Four Tail's neck.

"Found it!" Exclaimed Naruto who ran up the Four Tail's arm and made his way to its neck using his Chakra Mode.

He grabbed ahold of the rod lodged in the monkey's neck and began to pull. Once the rod began to shift, chains appeared from within the rod and wrapped themselves around Naruto.

"(Y/n)!" He called out to me and he felt the rod going back in rather than out.

"On it!" I used the monkey's body to run up towards Naruto. I was about to place my hands on the chains, but he said, "Stop! If you touch it, it will drain your power."

I took a few steps back and activated my Chakra Mode and used two Chakra arms to wrap itself around his body.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Y-Yeah."

I used as much of my strength to pull him back and after a few seconds, the rod was out and we were falling backwards until the Four Tails caught us in the palm of his hand.

"Alright! You did it!" I patted my companion on the shoulder who had a grin on his face.

Behind us, a giant earth colored humanoid had appeared with spike like protrusions on its back and nine eyes which remained shut. The humanoid opened its mouth and a purple chain was spewed out which wrapped itself around the Four Tails. The Four Tails dropped us once he felt the chain tug him and was sucked inside the humanoid's mouth while we were left on the ground.

We stood up, although Naruto stumbled to stay on his feet, panting and honestly he looked dead beat.

"You don't look okay," my eyes and voice were filled with concern as I had him lean on me for support.

"You look like you're about to pass out after stopping just one Tailed Beast. You can't defy me! I'm going to take your precious Tailed Beast with these..." he made a hand sign and rest of the five Tailed Beasts went into their Tailed Beast State.

"Damn," I muttered as I glanced over at Naruto who lifted himself off me and he seemed to have stopped panting and looked good as new which stunned me.

"We'll fight as a three man team with me taking the lead," said Killer Bee. "Just agree to be my back up. We're going up against five Tailed Beasts so you two can't be up in the front especially since you can't do a Tailed Beast Transformation."

"But you and Eight-O are hurt, so there isn't going to be an leading or backing up! We're going in together!" Exclaimed Naruto who radiated a new found strength.

"Hold on Naruto...Don't tell me... You and the Nine Tails..." trailed off the Eight Tails and a flare of yellow Chakra began to coat Naruto's entire body although much stronger this time .

Within a few seconds his Chakra Mode had taken on a new form. His eyes remained orange but his pupil was slit and his whisker marks became thicker. The Chakra shroud shape altered into a full length coat and remained with the swirls on his clothing. He dashed onto the battlefield and went into his own Tailed Beast Transformation.

"Woah..." I mumbled in astonishment. This new mode of his was impressive and had me wondering if I would look like that.

"Naruto and Kurama have linked and have now gone into a completed version of Nine Tails Chakra Mode. Seems he can also go into Tailed Beast Mode. It seems like those two have finally worked things out," hummed the Eight Tails.

"Someone like him isn't going to change huh?" I said to Akako who snarled at me.

"Only to save his ass."

"You heard Eight Tails, they've gotten along. They've finally accepted each other. You can't deny what you just saw plus he's saving the other Tailed Beasts!"

She remained silent and after about five seconds of silence had gone by I asked, "Will you and I...ever get along?"

She remained silent once again and her silence was all that I needed to know her answer.
