"Didn't want to hurt a pretty girl like you, but I'm left without a choice." Suigetsu tightly grabbed my wrist and removed my fist from his liquified face and in a matter of seconds, his face solidified back to normal.

He formed a fist and aimed it right at my stomach, but I caught his fist with my left hand. Using my left hand, I shoved him back and yanked my wrist out of his hand as I jumped away from him.

I created three shadow clones and sent them towards Suigetsu to distract him.

"Shiba, help keep him busy will ya?"

"Will do." He nodded and ran off joining my clones and Suigetsu.

Running past Suigetsu, I made my way towards Sasuke while pushing Karin aside.

"Hey!" Suigetsu having taken notice of my ever approaching presence towards Sasuke, had used his weapon to make one of my clones disappear. But the other two latched on to him and tried attacking him.

Sasuke being in his weakened state, went into a fighting stance as best as he could and had his Sharingan activated.

We both engaged in a taijutsu battle and exchanged a series of punches and kicks, leaving a few bruises on each other's bodies, but ultimately, I knew I had the upper hand in this fight as his hits were becoming sloppy from his fatigue.

As I was going to kick him across the face, he let out a pained grunt and clutched his eyes. I dropped my leg and lunged at him, sending us both to the ground.

I sat on top of his torso which somewhat surprised him as he tried to push me off.

"(Y/n), what are you-" but I cut him off by punching him across his pale cheek which left a red mark and I continuously kept punching him across the face.

He lifted up his arms and crossed them over his face that way I would be punching him on his forearms.

Despite that I kept going. "I didn't...want to...fight...but there's...no other...way," I huffed out in between each punch that I threw at him while it didn't seem to hurt him.

He grabbed ahold of one of my wrists and flipped us over and was now on top towering over my body. He pinned my hand to the ground and gripped my throat with his other hand but not to the point where he was choking the living daylight out of me.

"Why the hell should I go back?" He asked as his Sharingan was intently boring into my now (e/c) eyes.

"Because...Naruto and Sakura care...about you. We...want you to come...back," I choked out as I felt him tighten his grip around my neck. I wrapped my fingers around his wrist and tried to pry his hand off, but he wouldn't budge.

"And you don't care?" He asked while slightly tilting his head to the side.

"I do!" I exclaimed right at his face. His eyes widened for a split second but hardened into a glare once he heard what next left my mouth, "but...Naruto and Sakura were the ones who suffered the most. Even now as we speak, they're in pain because of you! They're out here searching for you!"

"I don't care about them!" He snarled and I narrowed my eyes at him, displeased and angered at the fact that he didn't care about our team. Our friends.

I loosened my fingers around his wrist and smacked him across the cheek which startled him, before I elbowed him in the face. He let go of my wrist and throat and placed his hands on his bloody nose.

I took this chance to get up from the ground and knee him under his chin. He fell back and as soon as he did, I quickly grabbed both of his ankles.

"I'm fucking dragging you back whether you like it or not!" I furiously shouted at him as I began dragging him across the solid ground. "I get why you're doing what you're doing but it's not the way to go!"

He kicked his feet and tried to make me release him, but I wouldn't. I can't.

"You're weakened and almost out of chakra. There's not much you can do right now." If he had been in his normal state, then there's no guarantee that I would be able to do what I'm doing right now. He surely would've did a number on me.

"Not so fast (L/n)," menacingly spoke a deep voice right behind my back which caused me to slightly jump in surprise. I slowly turned my head and was met with an orange mask and I instantly recalled my encounter with him a couple of years ago.

"You!"

And what do you know. Chains. Again.

From within his sleeve, a chain appeared and tightly wrapped itself around me from my chest down to my ankles, restricting my whole movement. He roughly tugged at the chain causing me to fall face flat on the ground. I scrunched my nose, wanting the pain to go away but I couldn't do anything at the moment.

"Undo the chains," weakly said Sasuke as he stood up and wiped off the remaining blood that dripped from his nose.

"No can do or she'll come after you. You need to escape not her." I growled at him, but he walked over to me and placed his foot on top of my head, lightly stepping on me.

"Stop," coldly said Sasuke as he stared at the back of the masked man's head with a glare.

He removed his foot and knelt down on one knee before grabbing my chin and lifting my head up to look at him. The only thing I could clearly see through the hole of his mask was his Sharingan.

"Consider yourself lucky this time. You'll be mine the next time I see you." And with those words, he let go of of my chin and walked over to Sasuke who gathered his teammates. In a second, they vanished into a black, spiral vortex. I shook my head, not wanting to believe that he managed to escape.

"Shiba! Please tell me there's a trace of his scent!" I anxiously said as I watched him begin to sniff the ground and air, but he shook his head.

"I can't smell his scent. He's gone."

I disappointedly dropped my head and placed my forehead on the ground. I gritted my teeth and clutched my eyes shut before I let out a frustrated scream that echoed throughout the entire area.

'I'm such a failure.'
