Eight Tails

It had taken days on ship before we finally reached the island, but it was nothing like what we expected. There were large, pointy spikes that covered the area and there were skulls and dead creatures on the land.

"Not so fun now is it, huh?" I nudged Naruto and he pouted and cursed the Toad Sage for bringing us to a place like this.

"Don't worry, it's safe. As long as we don't provoke them, then the creatures can be pretty docile. Except for one..." the Hidden Cloud Ninja who accompanied us stopped talking as the ship began to violently move.

A giant pink squid appeared behind us and lifted its tentacles before bringing them down against the water which caused the ship to sway even more and for water to be splashed on us.

"Great, just great..." I muttered as I looked at my soaked clothes and at the squid that was before us. The Hidden Cloud Ninja told us that this was the creature he wanted to warn us about.

"One, two, three.." Naruto began to count the squid's tentacles trying to verify that it was indeed a squid and not an octopus.

"Come on, Naruto. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this is a squid. Just look at it!" I pointed.

"But we have to make sure. If this is the octopus that's going to guide us then-" before he could finish, a tentacle wrapped itself around his body and lifted him up and spun him around.

"Naruto!"

Naruto seemed to have gotten dizzy and I leapt up and landed on the tentacle. I pulled out a dagger and stabbed the tentacle which loosened its hold on Naruto. I grabbed Naruto and we were thrown off by a powerful blow that came from the appearance of a demon ox with eight tails that spewed some weird things.

"Master Killer Bee!" Shouted the Cloud Ninja and I watched as the creature had began to transform back into a human who was a man with dark colored skin and had a muscular build. He light blonde hair and a goatee and wore oval shaped sunglasses. He wore the standard white one strap over the shoulder flak jacket and uniform along with two swords behind his back.

"Y'all are late, you fools, ya fools!" He shouted as he landed a few feet away from us.

"Hey, ya know Octopus, thanks!" Thanked Naruto for saving us from the squid and the man named Killer Bee began to say, "Will we clash or be a smash? If I dare say, it'll be a no-go, weee!"

Naruto and I zoned him out as we started whispering to each other. "What's up with this beefy guy in shades, singing lame puns at the top of his lungs."

"Beats me," I whispered back, having absolutely no clue as to what this guy was singing about.

"Welcome everyone!" A voice boomed over the area and we directed our attention to a man who was standing on top of one of the spikes. "I'm your supervisor Motoi and I'll take care of your needs. I'll take you to your lodgings, so please follow me."

We had gotten off the ship although Guy Sensei was still feeling the effects of his seasickness. We followed Motoi to a luscious forest that was inhabited by animals and we found out that Killer Bee was the host of the Eight Tails. Motoi led us to where we would be staying at and allowed us to pick any room we would like.

We each went inside our own room and it was quite small with the room only having a bed and a small, brown wooden round table with a chair. I took off my backpack and placed it on the ground against the bed before I sat down and lied down.

This was much needed after being out at sea for the past few days.

I breathed in through my nose and stared up at the ceiling before I closed my eyes and ended up taking a nap that was short lived because I heard someone banging on a door.
