It was early in the morning when I groggily walked with Naruto to the training area meet up with the rest of my teammates. The only one who was fully functioning out of the four of us was Sasuke while the rest of us were about to struggling to keep our eyes open.

Thus began the wait for our Sensei to arrive.

~Timeskip~

After hours of waiting, Kakashi Sensei finally appeared giving us a fake excuse.

"Your assignment is very simple. You just have to take these bells from me. If you can't get them by noon you'll go without lunch and you'll have to watch me eat your lunch," said Kakashi while all of ours stomachs simultaneously started growling.

"How come there's only three bells when there's four of us?" Asked Sakura until he explained the reasoning behind the three bells which pitted us against each other.

"And start!"

We all went into hiding unlike Naruto who boldly challenged Kakashi Sensei which made me sigh for the terrible choice he made.

I examined the way Kakashi Sensei was dealing with Naruto and watched as Naruto helplessly fell for Kakashi Sensei's bell trick.

'All right. Three bells and four of us. Why make us a team if one of us isn't gonna be able to pass?' I scratched my head at the way this was set up. 'Well, Naruto and I could work together to get a bell which leaves one of the other two to earn it although I knew who had a higher chance of getting it.'

That person who had a higher chance of earning it wasn't too far from me. We were both hidden within some branches of leaves.

'I could offer him to join Naruto and I which would leave the weakest link out....Is it selfish and rude of me to leave her out?' I grabbed the locks of my (h/l) (h/c) hair and lightly pulled at it unsure of what to do.

But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

I sneaked on over to where Sasuke was since Kakashi Sensei was still distracted with Naruto. I creeped up behind him and tapped his shoulder.

"Sasuke."

He was startled by me, but kept his eyes forward and didn't bother to turn around to look at me.

"What do you want?"

"I'm gonna get Naruto to team up with me to snatch one of those bells. Do you want in?"

"You're coming to me because you're that weak," he taunted with a slight chuckle escaping his lips.

"W-What?" I stuttered out in disbelief and glared at the back of his head. "I was only asking if you wanted to join that way we can get it done quickly. I'm not weak!"

"Tch, I don't need your help. You two will only drag me down."

"Why you-" I sternly looked at Sasuke one last time before leaving.

Kakashi Sensei wasn't around anymore. The only person out there in the open was Naruto who was hanging upside down from a tree.

Only he would get himself into a situation like that.

I jumped out in the open and ran towards him. "You hanging in there?" I smirked.

"Haha very funny (Y/n)," he scowled and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Hey Naruto, how about we team up and work together to get those bells. I'm sure the two of us can get one."

"If I'm going to become hokage I have to do this on my own," shouted Naruto with one hand now on his chest until I threw a kunai to slice the rope which resulted in him crashing onto the ground.
