Ten Tails Jinchuriki

The fight with Obito, who was the Ten Tails Jinchuriki dragged on for quite some time.

"Agh!"

Obito had the palm of his hand gripped around my forehead covering the entirety of my face as a black orb that was forming into a spear was aimed right at me.

"Stay still so I can blow your head off," murderously said Obito as I clawed my fingers into his arms. I  swung my legs at him and attempted to kick him but he grabbed ahold of one leg while I used the other to push him back and luckily I fell right on time as I saw the spear shoot right above my face.

'Fuck, that was a close one.'

I exhaled a sigh of relief and I watched Obito stare down at me from above while I planted my feet on the ground.

Naruto and Sasuke had appeared beside me and Naruto immediately asked, "Are you okay?!"

"Yeah. Alive that's for sure."

I was enveloped in Naruto's red chakra cloak along with every other shinobi and we directed our attention to the Divine Tree whose roots and branches aggressively sprouted and aimed itself at us, but the three of us jumped away.

It rapidly came our way and despite us trying to evade it, it followed us. A few shinobi got caught and their chakra was completely sucked right out of them.

"Sasuke, try something with me!"

He skidded to a stop and was familiar with the hand signs I was making and on cue, we simultaneously blew a large fireball at the branches which burnt them, but more immediately grew and came my way rather than Sasuke's.

"There's too many of them!!" I shouted over at Sasuke who sliced as many as he could, but it proved to be futile.

I grabbed my katana and sliced the ones that were approaching me and one swept me under my feet and I fell right into a branch that grabbed ahold of me and lifted me in the air.

My chakra cloak began to flicker and I activated my Mangekyo Sharingan and ignited the branch in flames. Sasuke sliced the flaming branch and caught my fall as he took me away from the Divine Tree.

We met up with Naruto, Minato and Tobirama however, Naruto no longer was in his Nine Tails Chakra Mode.

I looked around the área which consisted of bodies that lay on the ground but a certain trio caught my attention and I rushed over to them.

"S-Shikamaru!" My face paled as I saw his bony appearance now that his chakra was almost drained.

I knelt down beside Ino and Choji and my hands slightly trembled as I reached out to Shikamaru. He grasped my hand and weakly smiled at me.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm sorry you have to see me like this," he said and I clasped his hand even tighter as I was afraid that I would lose him.

He died once and was revived but I can't have a friend die again.

I channeled my chakra to my hand and began to heal his entire body, but he weakly shook his head.

"There's no point in healing me. It won't do much. I know yours isn't that strong, no offense though."

I chuckled and shook my head for his comment, but I continued to heal him.

"If only... if only I had more power," I shamelessly said. Even though I have so much chakra, it still wasn't enough. I can't give them chakra like Naruto. All I can do is attack or defend.

If I had Akako's power, then maybe I would've been able to provide them with chakra cloaks too and maybe...they wouldn't be like this.

"You can't protect them!!" Reminded Obito who was levitating in the air in front of the Divine Tree which had a closed flower at the top. His words only served as a reminder that there have been so many deaths already.

A thumping pain was felt on my neck and I clasped it right away and as I looked over my shoulder, standing near Sasuke was Orochimaru, Suigetsu and Karin.

Hashirama had called Ino over and his voice rang in my head and he relayed to everyone about the Divine Tree and there was about fifteen minutes left until the flower bloomed. He gave us two options to prevent project Tsuki No Me which were to cut down the tree or defeat the caster within the remaining time.

I looked around and some people were hesitant on approaching the tree, but it seems like they had to if they wanted this to be over.

From afar, Sasuke had activated his Susanoo and sliced down a large tree branch.

"Are you two done? Because I'm not," loudly spoke Sasuke as he eyed Naruto and I.

I shook my head at Sasuke and I saw Naruto go back into his Nine Tails Chakra Mode, but something hit me when he did.

Naruto's thoughts, feelings and memories were flowing within me. From when we were in the academy up until now. It showcased his journey along with some moments with me during our childhood. Some joyful while others were painful ones that we endured together. While I continued to feel everything that he felt, little did I know that it stirred a certain beast.

'(Y/n),' called out Akako.

'Yes?'

'Let's team up.'
