The next day, you had encountered Jiraiya Sensei and asked you to accompany him to another village. Agreeing you quickly raced back to your house and grabbed some of your belongings. Carrying a light backpack you headed back to the village gates and noticed Naruto there as well struggling with an enormous backpack.

"So you invited him as well." Looking at Jiraiya Sensei you sighed and turned around.

"Pervy sage said he he'd teach me a jutsu that's cooler and stronger than the chidori," said Naruto with excitement.

"Do you plan on teaching me as well?" You said eyeing Jiraiya Sensei. Nodding, you all began to head to your destination.

*Timeskip*

Arriving at the village, Jiraiya Sensei began to scout for the one he was looking for but was soon distracted by an attractive women. Giving us some money he sent us away to do whatever we pleased in our room.

Glaring at him you and Naruto huffed then headed to your designated room together. Stepping inside you plopped yourself on the bed. Staring at the ceiling you felt Naruto's weight on the side of the bed. Naruto had a nervous expression on his face as he debated to ask you something.

"So (Y/n)...when we return back to the village.. d-do you want to um-" A knock on the door had interrupted Naruto. "I'll get it." Getting off the bed you walked on over to the door and opened it. Once the door was open you stared up a man with crimson red eyes who was wearing a black cloak with red clouds and a straw hat.

The Sharingan! And those cloaks..I remember them from that certain day...

"Hey (Y/n) who's at the..door..." Paused Naruto as he approached the door and saw the man that was in front of us. "You're coming with us nine tails and eleven tails." Another man who had the appearance of a shark and had blue skin, stood beside the black haired man.

Naruto stood next you with wide eyes and fear coursing through his body. "Hey Itachi, it'll be a pain in the neck if these kids make a run for it. Maybe I ought to chop off a leg just in case." Grabbing your arm Itachi hauled you over to him while the man named Kisame was holding his Samehada above you.

Naruto outstretched his hand towards you but Kisame pushed him away from you. "It's been a long time, Sasuke." Snapping your head behind you, a few feet away stood Sasuke with hatred in his eyes.

"Say he looks a lot like you, who is he?" Said Kisame while looking at the two. "He's my younger brother." You heard Naruto let out a small gasp behind you.

Sasuke was glaring at Itachi and saw that Itachi was still holding on to my arm. "I mustered up my hatred for you all this time. I've lived my life for one single purpose.. TO SEE YOU DIE!" Activating his Sharingan and Chidori he charged straight towards Itachi but was easily stopped.

Easily stopping his Chidori he twisted Sasuke's hand. Hearing bones cracking, you winced at the sound and pain he was enduring. He fell to the ground clutching his hand from the pain.

Elbowing Itachi in the ribs, he released your hand and took the chance to grab Sasuke and distance yourselves from them. "Don't get in my way (Y/n)."

Looking at you dead in the eyes he pushed you aside and ran back at Itachi. Turning your head, you saw that Naruto was about to get sliced by Kisame's Samehada.

"Firestyle: Fireball jutsu." A fireball was sent towards Kisame but he blocked it with his Samehada. Out of the blue, smoke had appeared and revealed Jiraiya Sensei behind Naruto. You tuned him out for a few seconds as he began to talk about women.

"Typical of you to chase around women while we're here trying to save ourselves," you said as you crossed your arms.

"Yea we've got worse things to handle here Pervy Sage!"

Kisame cleared his throat, gaining our attention and interrupting us from our dispute. Jiraiya Sensei set the women down against the wall and stared at the two.

"I know you're after these two."

"You're right, Naruto and (Y/n) are the ones the Akatsuki are after and we will have them," calmly said Itachi.

Getting into a battle stance you held a kunai in front of you and pointed it Itachi and Kisame. "We'll just see about that."

"Stay out of this." Hearing Sasuke's voice you saw him struggling to stand up on his own two feet. "The only one who's going to eliminate him is me."

"But Sasuke-" Taking a few steps forward Jiraiya had placed his hand on your shoulder and signaling you with a look to stop.

"I'm not interested in you Sasuke, only them. Especially the girl." Itachi stared back at you and was about to make his way towards you until Sasuke began to attack Itachi.

You disliked feeling helpless and wanted to take action to help but you knew that would anger Sasuke. Watching him get beat up and bruised, you couldn't stand ariund and do nothing. Despite what Sasuke will say, you want to help a friend in need. Kisame swung his Samehada at you but you ducked down in time and ran towards Sasuke who was being pinned against the wall.

"(Y/n)!" Jiraiya Sensei called out to you but you paid no attention to him.

Screams of horror and agony filled the building but soon died down as Sasuke fell unconscious. "What did you do to him," you said as you grabbed onto Itachi's cloak, taking him by surprise. He dropped Sasuke into the ground without any compassion for his younger brother.

"Merely made him relive his past." He stared down at you with no emotion but while staring into his eyes you  thought you saw a flicker of sadness. It could've been you're imagination but that wasn't the case at the moment. Grabbing your hand he removed it from his cloak and turned you around, pushing you against the wall. Jiraiya didn't waste any time and began to engulf the building in his jutsu.

Leaning in close he was a few inches away from your ear. "Sooner or later you'll join us but in the meantime...watch over this village and Sasuke. I'll be in touch with you," he quietly said to you until he ran off along with Kisame. Shocked by his words you regained your composure and ran after him.

"Wait!" Turning a corner, there were black flames engulfing the exit. Seeing no sight of them a sigh had escaped your lips and as walked back to Jiraiya Sensei and Naruto.

"Don't go off and be reckless like Naruto." Averting your eyes you went on over to Sasuke and saw his blank face. Kneeling down you placed your hands over his body. A green glow began to emit from your hands and began healing the minor wounds and scratches he had. "We should get him to the hospital." Removing your hands you placed his arm around you, holding onto him tightly. Right when you were about to walk, Guy Sensei had appeared and kicked Jiraiya Sensei in the face.

Guy Sensei began to apologize for the confusion and began to discuss with Jiraiya Sensei about the fight with the Akatsuki members not too long ago. "What we need is a medical specialist."

"That's the woman that we're searching for. The legendary Sanin Tsunade. We'll head on out to look for you while you take Sasuke to the hospital." Handing over Sasuke to Guy Sensei you watched as they both left.  Leaving the building the three of you proceeded out of the village down the dirt path.
