Fukasaku and Shima had reverse summoned us to Mt. Myoboku to speak with the Great Elder. He was a giant, wrinkly toad whose skin was a fading orange color. He wore a professors hat with tassels and an orb on top and wore a necklace around his neck. He squinted down at us as he remained seated on top of a shallow pool of water with the kanji for Sage on it.
"I have brought them," loudly announced Fukasasuk.
"Hey! Long time no see Giant Gramps Sage!" Loudly exclaimed Naruto who seemed to be on good terms with the toad. Then again he's on good terms with almost everyone.
While on the other hand this was my first time meeting him and seeing him in the flesh.
"Indeed. It is I who summoned you...er....um who are you again?"
Naruto deadpanned and a tick mark appeared on his forehead. "Naruto Uzumaki! Man I wish you would hurry up and learn my name, Giant Gramps Sage!"
"Ah right! That's right, it's Naruto!" He turned over and looked at me and asked, "And who might you be?"
"(Y/n) (L/n)."
"He nodded his head and introduced himself as Gamamura. He slightly opened his eyes and began to speak, "Listen both of you. I have seen a prophecy involving the two of you. You will soon be meeting an octopus."
Naruto and I glanced at each other giving each other a 'really' look. But Naruto shuddered as he remembered the food from earlier. "Why an octopus?"
"Well I couldn't see too clearly, but I'm sure I saw an octopus. And then...Naruto, you will fight a young man whose power lies in his eyes."
"Well we definitely know who that is," I muttered to Naruto under my breath, but Fukasaku caught on.
"You already know who it is?"
"Yeah."
"As for you (Y/n), I saw a dark, cramped place with no escape up in the sky as you called out the name of the same man who will fight against Naruto."
Naruto and I raised our brows and with uncertainty I asked, "So...I'm calling out Sasuke's name for help?" I glanced at Naruto who shrugged his shoulders while I on the other hand, didn't know what to think. "But why would I be calling for Sasuke? Don't tell me Naruto dies?"
"That I do not have the answer for," replied the Great Toad Sage and I scowled as I placed my hand under my chin trying to find an answer.
"Gerotora," the Great Toad Sages's voice echoed through the room. "I also saw a dream where you stored yourself inside Naruto."
"W-What?!" Gerotora hesitantly looked at the Great Toad Sage and could see that it was no lie.
"Give him the Fourth Hokage's seal."
Gerotora extended his body upwards and rolled out a paper that had complex writing on it and a square along with a tetragram seal. Shima came into the room holding another scroll and placed it in front of me.
"Is this for me?" I asked and the Toad Sage nodded his head.
"Jiraiya was the one who got ahold of your seal. I don't know how, but he found a way."
I opened the contents of the scroll and it appeared similar to the one for Naruto.
"With this, you will have the means to perfect that jutsu Jiraiya talked about and you'll be able to release your tailed beast."
I placed my scroll on the ground and knelt down ready to place my hand on the square whenever they signaled for me to. Naruto was hesitant about releasing the Nine Tails but eventually obliged. We fused some chakra into our fingers and placed it on our designated square.
"Alright! The contract is complete. Now I'm gonna go into storage," said Gerotora.
"Huh? Storage?" Questioned Naruto.
"You don't need to do a thing. Just keep your mouth open. Now say "ahh" for me."
Naruto slightly opened his mouth, but Gerotora insisted he open his mouth wider. Naruto opened his mouth wide open and Gerotora jumped inside Naruto's mouth and I winced at the sight as Naruto's scream echoed throughout the room. Fake tears ran down his cheeks as Gerotora struggled to get inside his mouth. Fukasaku jumped and kicked Gerotora fully inside his mouth and Naruto fell to his knees and coughed out any slime that was on his tongue.
"I-I don't need to do anything like that right?" I squeaked.
"No, child." I let out a sigh of relief when I heard those words from Fukasaku.
"Hey, why doesn't she get to suffer?!" Cried out Naruto and I glared at him.
"Jiraiya never said she needed anyone stored inside her. Tough luck kid," snickered Gerotora.
I crouched next to Naruto and patted his back while Fukasaku began to speak with us. "Now, I'll be taking you both back to the Hidden Leaf Village. After that we'll have to look for the octopus."
"Oh right. The prophecy about the octopus. Where is the octopus? Can't we have more details?" Asked Naruto.
"It's not clear but it's a solitary island. People don't go near it. It's like a paradise for creatures. To me, it seems it would be a fun resort," explained the Great Toad Sage.
Naruto began to daydream about the place and the time we would spend together away from everyone. He wrapped his arms around me and had a smile on his face. "We're gonna have so much fun, (Y/n)! I can already imagine it!"
"Oh I'm sure you can."
"Ahem. And from there, the octopus should be of help to you. In any case, you will find your way."
"Got it." We understood what would happen and said our goodbyes to him as we left with Fukasaku to escort us back home.
