~Two years later~
"Elder Brother has changed..." sighed Ashura who lay next to me on the grass. "If he's just strict all the time, I feel like he's going to alienate everyone."
"No kidding. He's got a stick up his ass. He demands that I be training with him or be by his side helping him, but... I don't really want to all the time. You're way better to be around with than him," I smiled at Ashura whose ears began to go red and he returned the smile.
"I'm glad we skipped out today since you're always so busy with elder brother," he complained in the end.
"Don't get jealous now," I teased and he chuckled at him, when I saw him pout, although I found it cute.
"Ashura! (Y/n)! There you two are!" Shouted Taizo who ran over to us as we seated ourselves up.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Did you two finish training early today?" He asked.
"Well, elder brother is busy becoming the next successor so I thought it would be okay for us to slack off a bit."
"And I needed a break from it," I groaned and a chill ran down my spine just thinking of it.
"Well can you help me with something?" Asked Taizo.
And what came out of our mouths were two completely different answers.
"Sure!"
"Sorry but no."
Ashura stared at me in bewilderment and I furrowed my eyebrows at him and said, "What?"
"I thought you would agree to helping out our friend."
"Yeah about that...." I paused before I continued, "I would but... I really don't want to. I just want to enjoy myself today." I let myself fall back with my back hitting the warm grass and my (e/c) eyes staring at the clear, blue sky.
"I get what you mean but it's fine. Ashura will do!"
Taizo pulled Ashura up on his feet and dragged him away from me.
"See you later!" He grinned and I gave him a wave goodbye from the ground and placed my arms over my eyes.
There was now silence and tranquility.
"I really hate that Indra is making me work to the bone," I mumbled as I continued to bask in the sun's warmth.
But that warmth soon disappeared from the upper half of my body as a shadow loomed over me.
"So this is where you have been," I heard Indra say and I immediately flinched and opened my eyes as I removed my hands from over my eyes.
"Indra!"
"I've been searching around for you only to find you slacking off here. No doubt with my brother," he scowled.
"There's a reason why."
'Now I need to find another place to hide,' I internally groaned as I stood up and dusted my clothing.
"Let's go. You can explain on the way there."
"I'm not going," I turned my head away from him and avoided his gaze.
"And why not?" He sternly asked as he walked and stood in front of me, but I turned around with my back to him and balled my hands into fists.
"Because I never asked for any of this!" I turned on my heel and threw my hands in the air. "I don't want to be training all the time or following you around the whole day! I never asked to be your assistant when you become successor! You just announced it and everyone agreed to it!" I profusely shouted.
