A/n: Hehe, you guys are in for a surprise!

I arrived to see Naruto slamming a giant Rasengan on the three headed dog's back. I landed on top of a tree not too far away from Naruto while Itachi made his way on top of the drill beaked bird with Nagato. His eyes had swirled into his Mangekyo Sharingan and we avoided eye contact with him, but Naruto's cheeks started to puff and a crow came out from his mouth. The crow wielded a Sharingan in one eye while the other eye had a different design which seemed oddly familiar to me.

"Why did a crow come out of my mouth?" Coughed out Naruto in disgust and jumped over next to me once he saw Itachi's eye bleed and I remembered what he mentioned earlier.

"He's planning on using Amaterasu!"

Hearing what I said, Killer Bee threw one of his swords at Itachi, but Nagato repelled it with his justu, Almighty Push.

But no flames appeared near us. Instead the flames appeared on the summoning animals and on Nagato who fell to the ground engulfed in flames. The crow that was flying in circles perched itself onto Naruto's shoulder.

Itachi jumped off the bird and landed near us. Naruto had his guard up and was ready to get in a fighting stance until Itachi said, "Relax, I'm no longer being controlled. I used a new Genjutsu against the enemy's jutsu. A Genjutsu that orders me to protect the Leaf Village. It erased the Reanimation Jutsu. I prepared that crow to respond to my Mangekyo Sharingan, for times like this. It's implanted in that crow's eye."

Upon closer inspection, I recognized who the eye belonged to. "Wait...that's Shisui's eye, isn't it?" I hesitantly asked and Itachi nodded his head. An image of Shisui's beaming face flashed through my mind for a split second until it was replaced with the image of him moments before his death.

"Yes. The ultimate Mangekyo Sharingan genjutsu in existence. Koto Amatsukami."

Itachi went on to explain what Koto Amatsukami was before continuing on to explain why he had his eye in the first place and the reason why he entrusted it to Naruto. After hearing everything, Naruto understood his reasons.

"Itachi, thank you for trusting me. You don't have to worry anymore. You've done more than enough for the village. Let me take care of the rest."

A small smile appeared on Itachi's lips at hearing Naruto's words. "My little brother is lucky...to have a friend like you."

"It's Naruto after all. He-" but I stopped talking once I heard a sound and we looked below ground only to see that Nagato was gone.

We looked around but we were then pushed away by a powerful force and each one us got separated. I grabbed onto a nearby branch and hid myself behind the tree until it stopped.

It had died down after a couple of seconds and I scanned the area, but there wasn't anyone in sight. I headed back to where we once were and surrounded by broken trees were Nagato, Naruto, and Bee.

However, Naruto was wrapped in a lizard's tongue while Bee was in some sort cord. Nagato seemed to be extracting something purple out of Naruto which appeared to be his soul.

I landed on the ground and dashed towards Nagato with my dagger. It's like battling Pain all over again. There's no use in ninjutsu since he'll absorb it. I jumped midair and saw another arm protrude from Nagato's body and he tried grabbing my neck, but I used a chakra arm to grab to stop him.

Another two chakra arms appeared and I used them to pull Naruto and Bee away as Itachi appeared with his red Susanoo and sliced Nagato's arms off.

Nagato staggered back and his arms started to regenerate back to normal. He placed his hands together and a black orb rose to the sky towards the center of the sun. The ground started to shake and crack before pieces of it started to gravitate to towards it.
