It's been awhile since you all were walking down the road back home and you were content once you saw the village gates come into view. Stepping into the village you were all greeted by Kotestu and Izumo. Walking with them to the Hokage tower, Lady Tsunade had to inform the elders about her presence. About to take your leave, Naruto grabbed ahold of your hand.

"Where are you going, we have to wait for Granny Tsunade so she can cure Kakashi Sensei, Sasuke and Bushy Brows."

"Oh, right. Well I guess we can wait until she's done." Leaning against the wall with Naruto you both patiently waited for her. Hearing footsteps you turned towards the exit of the tower. "Well that was quick Lady Tsu-." Stopping mid sentence you realized it was Konohamaru.

"Oh hey Konohamaru." Giving him a wave he dashed towards you and started leaning against you invading your personal space. "Is it true (Y/n)?! That lady is the new Hokage!" Looking at you with puppy dog eyes he was hoping that it'd be some sort of joke.

"No she's the new Hokage. I know it's hard to believe," answered Naruto with a shrug.

"NOOO! Argh!" Konohamaru began to yank his hair as he ran away with an angered expression on his face.

"Must be hard for him." Leaning back against the building with Naruto you two heard footsteps once again and saw Lady Tsunade and Shizune.

"There you are Granny Tsunade!"

"Hm what do you want?"

"There's something you have to do first. I told you it was about Sasuke, Kakashi Sensei, and Bushy Brows!"

"Fine fine." Waving her hand she began to walk down the steps with Shizune. We followed after her until we heard a familiar voice in front of us.

"Oh (Y/n), Naruto. What are you guys doing here?" While we talked with Shikamaru, Lady Tsunade began to chat with Shikaku. Shikamaru leaned in close to your ear and whispered," By the way who's that young lady?"

"She's the new Hokage." He looked at you with shock evident on his face from the news. Naruto saw the close proximity between you and Shikamaru. Stepping in between you two, he nudged you guys away from each other. Sending him a small glare, you turned your head away from him with a huff.

"I'll see you later." Hearing Tsunade's voice you said your farewell to Shikamaru and went with Naruto to join Lady Tsunade.

The walk to the hospital didn't take very long and you all headed straight towards Sasuke's room. When you entered you noticed Sakura there with a worried look plastered on her face.

"Sakura you can rest easy now, we brought a special medic." Gesturing a hand to Lady Tsunade, she placed her hand on top of Sasuke's forehead and emitted a green glow. In a few seconds she stopped and we all looked as Sasuke began to furrow his eyes. His eyes slowly opened and he stood up straight on the bed. Relieved that he was awake you saw Sakura jump onto Sasuke to engulf him in a hug.

While she was hugging him, Sasuke's dull and tired eyes met yours first. His onyx eyes bore into yours but you gave him a small smile then looked away as he was still staring at you. Noticing Naruto's slow retreating figure, Lady Tsunade and Shizune left with him.

Standing there behind Sakura and Sasuke, it felt pretty awkward as you shifted uncomfortably on your feet. It was pretty silent except for Sakura's low sobbing.

"I'm going to go now, I'll come by and visit some other time." Turning around you didn't hear a reply from either one of them, but you felt a pair of eyes staring at your retreating figure. Leaving the hospital you started to aimlessly walk around the village.
