Chunin Exams Begin

Time had passed since the incident at the Land of Waves. Ever since then, you all started bonding together, knowing that death could occur any time. Nonetheless, Naruto and Sasuke continued on with their bickering even after you've gotten closer.

You were all waiting for Kakashi Sensei to arrive so you could start your next mission.

*Timeskip*

Your next mission required plucking weeds. You were carefully plucking the weeds alongside Naruto until he accidentally plucked the herbs too. It resulted in him getting yelled and beaten by the lady of the household.

After that, your next mission was to pick up trash from the river. You didn't really enjoy the mission but endured it as best you could. You were about to go chat with Sasuke to rid the feeling of boredom until you heard Naruto scream.

You all saw the current washing Naruto away towards the waterfall. You quickly dropped your basket you were carrying and ran after him with Sasuke tagging along behind you. Sasuke gave you wire to tie around your kunai that you launched towards the tree.

You jumped off the cliff reaching to grab Naruto's ankle before he plunged down the waterfall. You successfully caught him while Sasuke grabbed your ankle holding onto the wire you both set up earlier.

"You really should be more careful Naruto," you said staring down at him.

"You really are a loser," commented Sasuke right after which caused Naruto to grunt.

A few hours later the last mission you had was walking a few dogs. You, Sakura, and Sasuke had a small dog to walk except for Naruto, who insisted on getting the biggest dog. To his dismay he was unable to stop the dog from dragging him into a minefield. Soon came the dog unharmed while Naruto's whole body was singed from the explosions. You face palmed at his reckless behavior.

*Timeskip*

After the incident, you and Sasuke were carrying Naruto back in the village.

"Honestly Naruto, the things you do sometimes," you said while sighing.

Sasuke smirked but responded right after, "You're just one big problem." Naruto became irritated but before he could do anything you got in between them while Sasuke began to walk away.

"Just calm down Naruto. Ignore what he said." Naruto hesitantly let it slide for now. Kakashi decided to leave and report to the hokage.

"Wait Sasuke! So..why don't we...I mean you know. Let's do something more personal to improve our teamwork and all," Sakura shyly said.

Sasuke coldly responded," Your just as bad as Naruto. Instead of flirting why don't you practice your jutsu to become stronger like (Y/n) and I." Sakura deadpanned at his words while you and Naruto watched him leave.

You noticed a box moving on the ground behind Naruto. You walked closer to the box and noticed it was a disguise. "You can undo the jutsu, it's pretty obvious you know," you said crossing your arms over your chest. Naruto soon caught on too that it was indeed a disguise.

Smoke soon appeared but when the smoke died down there was Konohamaru along with Moegi and Udon.

"Hi (Y/n)!" They all yelled while you greeted them back.

"You said you'd play ninja with us boss," said Konohamaru looking at Naruto. Naruto was nervously trying to think of a way out so we could go train until Sakura appeared.

She was staring intensely at Naruto and Naruto began to blush. From your perspective it appeared she was glaring daggers at Naruto but didn't make it obvious.
