Kakashi Sensei, Captain Yamato and I formed a small circle as we discussed what was going to happen next. Naruto was going to be sent back to the Leaf Village with Yamato while Kakashi Sensei and I were going to follow after Sakura.

Although Kakashi Sensei didn't want me coming along, I insisted and he knew I wasn't going to change my mind and allowed me to come.

As we finished discussing, we heard Naruto breathing pretty heavily. We turned over to look at him, but his back was facing towards us. He dropped his knees as he clung to his chest and fell forward on the snow.

The cold breath was escaping his lips and his breathing became deep and rapid. He couldn't breathe properly and we quickly rushed towards him. I knelt down beside him and tried to calm him down, although I wasn't sure what to do in a situation like this. It was the first time I've seen this happening to someone.

"He's hyperventilating!" Shouted Captain Yamato.

"Naruto! Breathe!" I frantically exclaimed.

"Breathe slowly," calmly said Kakashi Sensei as we watched Naruto's eyes flutter shut.

I stared up at the three them with a bewildered expression as to what to do.

Kakashi Sensei decided that Naruto would stay under Captain Yamato's care until he regained conscious while we would start heading out with Sai's clone.

~Timeskip~

Kakashi Sensei and I ended up passing by an unconscious Kiba, Lee, Sai, and Akamaru as we were drawing near our destination.

We could see a bridge up ahead and standing there, I spotted a patch of pink hair. We could clearly see a patch of raven hair coming into view and was walking behind Sakura.

Sasuke's hand ignited into blue sparks and our eyes widened but Kakashi Sensei leapt forward and grabbed ahold of Sasuke's wrist before he could slam his Chidori into Sakura's body.

I leapt forward and extended my leg out as I kicked Sasuke's back and sent him skidding away from us. On the ground beside Sakura, was the same red head, Karin, who had blood running down her mouth.

"It's just one after another," said Sasuke with a smirk although his eyes remained on me. I glanced over at him before turning my attention back to Karin. I walked over and knelt down in front of her.

"It was Sasuke who did this, wasn't it?" I asked and she averted her crimson eyes away from me.

"...yes," she weakly murmured.

"I warned you. Remember what I said last time, 'If you're a burden or aren't of any use to him, then he won't hesitate to throw you away and leave you behind' and look what happened." I gave the girl a pitiful look at the misfortune she had suffered by the hands of the lone Uchiha. Initially she didn't know what she was getting herself into to and this was the outcome.

I stood up and looked over at Sakura and pointed my thumb over my shoulder. "Take her away and heal her."

She hastily picked up Karin and took her elsewhere that was nearby and performed her medical ninjutsu.

"Didn't expect to see me so soon huh Sasuke?" I took in the state he was in and it was clearly obvious that he was in a fight judging from his tattered clothes and the dry blood underneath his left eye.

"Hn."

"Sasuke, I don't like repeating myself however I'll say this one last time. Don't be consumed by your revenge!" Sternly said Kakashi Sensei.

Sasuke chuckled at his words before erupting into a maniacal laugh which soon died out after a few seconds and his lips formed a thin line.

"Itachi, my mother, my father...even my clan. Bring them back! If you can do that, I'll stop!" He shouted at us and I shouted right back at him.

"You killed Itachi! We didn't do anything! Bringing back the dead is impossible! If it was possible then they'd all be here, even my family...but they're not because of someone! And that someone had to be your brother! He killed my mother and my clan! I was betrayed by another Uchiha!"

He coldly gazed into my eyes and his onyx orbs widened for a second as if he remembered something.

"You knew, didn't you...?" He asked as he took a step forward. "You knew and didn't fucking say anything, didn't you?!"

"What?" I took a step back, confused by what he was getting at.

Sasuke stormed towards me but Kakashi Sensei stepped in front of me. I lightly pushed Kakashi Sensei away so I could face Sasuke.

He gripped the collar of my shirt and brought my face in close to his. "You knew about Itachi! About why he did it! He mentioned you and you did too, yet you didn't tell me!"

"Like you would listen! You've always been fixated on revenge and killing him! Anything I said would fall on deaf ears!" I gripped his wrist and yanked his hand away from me. "And it wasn't my place to tell!"

His onyx eyes instantly changed into a newly developed Sharingan.

"You've changed a lot more from the last time I saw you, Sasuke," I said referring to his eyes. We both had a three tomoe Sharingan last time, but now we both have a new Mangekyou Sharingan.

A purple aura started to envelope his body and a large skeletal structure appeared above him. Seeing this, Kakashi Sensei quickly grabbed me and we jumped off the bridge before the skeletal hand could grab us.

We landed on the water and landing a few feet away from us was Sasuke with his malevolent skeleton that possessed demonic horns, a long appendage on it chin and a ghastly grin, but it soon changed again and now had armor as its skin and a bow and arrow appeared in its hand.

"Is that...Susanoo?" Muttered Kakashi Sensei and I saw the humanoid draw its arrow and aimed it at us before it let go of the arrow.

The arrow was rapidly approaching and my Mangekyou Sharingan appeared and red flames erupted around the arrow, but the arrow then vanished into thin air.

I looked over at Kakashi Sensei and noticed that he too used his.

"Who would've thought that someone who isn't an Uchiha could awaken the Mangekyou. It seems you were both saved by the power of that eye. You should be grateful to the Uchihas for giving you such powers!"

"At least we're not using it for the wrong reasons!" I shouted at him and a smirk appeared on his lips.

"Oh (Y/n), your eyes still remain weaker than mine. That's a given since you aren't an Uchiha." I scowled at his words and scoffed at him. He thought he was better than us because he had acquired the Susanoo. "I'll show you the difference between our Sharingan."

His Susanoo began to transform once more and another layer appeared and acted as an armor but Sasuke stumbled and clutched his eyes. His Susanoo began to deteriorate and disappeared.

His eyes trembled as he stared at us and he rubbed his eyes.

'Something is wrong with his eyes.'

I noticed a figure running under the bridge and noticed that Sakura came back with a kunai in hand. She dropped down onto the surface of the water and stood behind Sasuke. She pointed the kunai at his back however she couldn't strike him down. Her resolve wavered and tears ran down her face.

Kakashi Sensei struggled to run towards her due to the after effects of the Mangekyou. I quickly ran ahead of him and reached Sasuke and grabbed his arms.

"Sakura, now!"

She stared wide eyed at me and her trembling hands lifted the kunai up. She gritted her teeth and closed her eyes shut, willing herself to kill the one she loved.

Sasuke elbowed me in the face and I let go of him and clutched my face in pain. Sasuke grabbed ahold of Sakura's neck and snatched the kunai out of her hand but someone else came into the scene before Sakura could get killed and had their cheek sliced.

It was Naruto.
