Hoseok: Choking

"What do you guys want to have for lunch?" Seokjin called from the living room. "Lamb skewers please, Jin hyungie!" shouted Jungkook. "Okay, I'm going to order them on Food Panda!" replied Seokjin.

Suddenly, Namjoon received a call from Sejin. "Hello, Namjoon. I'm here to inform you that your dance practice today has been scheduled for half an hour early, which means that you're having it in about forty minutes."

Namjoon replied a 'yes' and hung up. "Jin hyung, our dance practice has been changed to forty minutes later." said Namjoon to Seokjin. "Alright, the food will be arriving in ten minutes anyway. We only need ten minutes to eat."

"Yes, but Hobi's a slow eater," Yoongi pointed out. "He usually needs twenty-five minutes approximately, so we only have five minutes to drive over there if we're waiting for him."

"These are only some lamb skewers, and they shouldn't take too much time eating, right? Just tell Hobi to eat faster," grumbled Seokjin. Namjoon and him told everyone about the news and soon, the lamb skewers arrived.

Twenty minutes passed. Everyone had finished their lamb skewers, but Hoseok was still eating. "Hobi hyung, we have no time to spare," reminded Taehyung. "I'll be done soon," replied Hoseok although he didn't look like he would be.

"Yah! Hoseok-ah, just eat faster!" shouted Seokjin suddenly. His voice frightened Hoseok, who was eating a piece of lamb skewer, causing him to choke on it.

He coughed hard, but he still couldn't cough that piece of lamb skewer out. Jimin went over and started hitting Hoseok's back, but it still wouldn't work. Jungkook gave five sharp blows between Hoseok's shoulder blades with the heel of his hand. He started to check if the blockage had cleared or not.

Sadly, it hadn't.

It was time for the abdominal thrusts.

This time, Namjoon went to do it as he had practiced it in a first-aid class before. He stood behind Hoseok, placed his own arms around Hoseok's waist, and bent the older forward. Namjoon clenched one fist and placed it right above Hoseok's belly button. The leader put his other hand on top of Hoseok's fist and pulled sharply inwards and upwards.

Namjoon repeated the same movement for five times, but the blockage still hadn't cleared.

"Call 119 right now!" screamed Namjoon, sensing danger. He continued the cycle of five back blows and five abdominal thrusts on Hoseok while Seokjin went to call the ambulance.

Hoseok jerked suddenly, and spit the piece of lamb skewer out. He fainted shortly after, but fortunately, he was breathing. "Oh my god, Hoseok, is he breathing?" asked Jimin. Taehyung nodded. Everyone was relieved that Hoseok wasn't choking anymore although the rapper was still unconscious. However, Namjoon was a little worried because abdominal thrusts could cause serious injuries.

He was sure his hyung would be fine though.

"Are there any serious injuries?" asked Namjoon worriedly. The doctor shook his head. "You might think that those abdominal thrusts can cause serious injuries, and yes they can if you don't do it right, but we examined Mr. Jung and he seems completely fine."

"Oh, thank you so much," smiled Taehyung as the doctor left. "You scared us," stated Yoongi, "and Jin hung shouldn't have scared you."

"I'm so sorry, Hobi," apologised Seokjin. "Aww, Jin hyung, you didn't mean to," replied Hoseok weakly. "We'll never ever have lamb skewers again," Seokjin said.

"We will, of course, for Kook and Yoongi hyung's sake," chuckled Hoseok, looking at the two he mentioned, who were frowning at Seokjin.

"I'm literally your hyungs," said Seokjin, turning to Jungkook and Yoongi.

"And we're literally the gangsters of the house."

"Seriously? When? More like, the babies of the house."

"Since just now. We rule the house now. Don't forget how you made Hobi hyung choke..."

"Yah! Stop it! S-T-O-P  I-T!"
