There are many instances in our lives when we just don't feel like doing anything; we can't help but look at the pile of work building up. Most of the time, it's a lack of motivation.

We know that we have to do that particular thing, but we just can't make ourselves work. Here, motivation is the key. We need that real urge inside us to do something other than whether it's completing assignments or doing a workout or anything else.

Here are some ways by which you can stay motivated:

Don't search for motivation
Yes, don't search for motivation but let it come to you. Observe things around you, connect with nature and let things go with the flow. In all, calm your mind and stop thinking about the work and look for other things.

Maintain a quote's diary
A quote's diary is one in which you just wrote one line of motivation. Write one sentence each day in it. You can write them up with some colourful pens and in different styles, as you wish. It would hardly take ten minutes of a day. Now, whenever you are in search of some motivation or are feeling low, just open up that diary and flip through the pages. The different colours would help you feel good and the lines would surely boost some confidence in you. Surely, you can just open google and search for quotes, but looking at your diary will give you much happiness and it will prevent you from wasting your time on the phone.

Read stuff.
Books are a great source of inspiration. Read any novel or story you like. It would calm your mind and trust me, you would feel much more motivated and better. You wouldn't even panic thinking that you just wasted your time here and there when you had tons of work because reading can never be a waste of time.

Think of future happiness.
Just go ahead in the future and think about the time when you have finally completed all your work. You would be so relieved and happy. No worries about not completing things and no burden and pressure. This thought would push you to do things even if you aren't willing to.

Don't give yourself the time to think
The moment you feel like that now you need to do something productive, just get on it. Don't give your brain the time to think. Don't give yourself the time to get distracted. You are feeling like studying now, just go, get your books and start with it. You want to write a chapter, just take your pen and paper and start.
