And its fear running in our head,
The world has come to a complete stop.
Smiles have vanished,
Hopes have diminished.
Positivity has evaporated
Households of the affected,
Are left devastated.
Chances are lost,
Of stepping out of the house.
Fear has all, but gripped,
Young minds usually equipped
With knowledge, curiosity and energy.
But dear citizens
Just follow the precautions,
Let not the fear of the pandemic,
Hold you all in its deadly grip!
Stay home, stay safe.
Control Corona's rapid pace.
Follow social distancing;
Use social media for socialising.
Give this time to 'friends without complaints'
Which are 'books' of course,
Or just look up the net,
For a productive online course!
"No time" is no longer an excuse.
It is now in abundance,
Put every second to good use.
Explore your hidden talents-
Write, draw, dance or sing!
Or just bring out the artist in you,
Witnessing a beautiful evening.
Sit back, reflect, react.
Bring out the wishlist hidden
deep inside your heart.
Shrouded were you from deep within
All these years,
Time now to shed all...
Layer by layer.
But just in case,
Your profession demands
You stepping out of the house,
Just remember to follow the precautions,
To stop Corona's evil course!
Corona has filled the minds of people
To such an extent,
That probability of finding positive minds
Is completely extinct.
Friends, remember no problem is that huge
To let it play on our minds.
Let the fear evaporate and
Blow away the albatrosses from our minds.
Tread positively and fearlessly in the pandemic time,
for the phoenix shall rise again!
