Being a part of the civilized society, we have already ushered into the 21st century. But what kind of treatment a girl child possess in this society is always a matter of concern. Nowadays, intellectuals are talking about Women's Day or women's liberation but what is the use of all these things when the position of a girl is not improved till date. She has to suffer for those fault which she didn't commit.
Here I am not talking about the upper class woman because they are capable and audacious in every sphere of life. They are achieving whatever they want. They are free to take their own decision. But what about other women whose husbands' dominate them, bind them in the four walls of the kitchen? Even if a lady is talented their not-so-broad-minded husband doesn't let them work.
Somedays ago, I read an article in newspaper that one husband and wife with their children were going somewhere when their car crashed with the other, and because of that, the other person shot the wife. Apparently he was going to shoot the husband but he shot the wife. But the truth was, her husband had paid him to kill his wife because she had given birth two girls.
Even today the society is not civilised.
Please respect girls. We workhip goddess Lakshmi, Sarswati, Durga and many more but can't respect girls, why?
