Well, let me elucidate a bit.
Nepotism, as practiced by many bigshots in Bullywood, is being looked down upon currently. Well it should be truly, but what about the instances of nepotism in other cases? Often in schools, a staff's child or nibling is not very much meddled with. Teachers often let the niblings or children of their senior employees scott free due to the fear of losing their jobs, or maybe to stay in their good books. Is this not nepotism?
Drop the previous example, it is not that important. What about all those JEE- NEET aspirants who have some quota to back their low scores up? Let's have a look at the cutoff...

Do you know what does 50- 51 percentile means in terms of marks? Somewhat 0- 25 or something, practically. Meaning? If you just go and submit your paper, congratulations! You have about 40- 45 percentile or maybe even more. The ST will easily get to sit in JEE Advanced while the 80 percentile scoring general? Sorry you can try again next time.
And did I tell you the fees that a general category student has to pay in IITs? On an average about 7 times more than a SC- ST student. Is this not a form of nepotism? Meaning even if a general category student manages to fight aginst the reservation in marks, might not always be able to pay for his/her fees.

This has often pressurized several people to take their own lives. Why don't we sit up in such cases? Milking out benefits thanks to the family you were born. What we should raise voice against is not just nepotism but the root cause reservation.
Since if you can offer reservations in important aspects like education, employeement and politics; then why not in entertainment? Especially when often the shining referrals in your resume can determine a job then why not mete out the same in Bollywood? It would be unfair to them.
I would end by saying, lets not make nepotism the issue, but the root idea; the idea of RESERVATION. Let us all stand up together against the idea of reservation, the idea that a particular bunch is gaining things easily thanks to being privileged or because their ancestors were ill treated.
