♠️For a different future♠️

Let's start.
Hi! Are you in high school? Or college? Or middle school?
What do you want to be in future? What's your plan? How's your studies going? What was your overall grade last year? PCM or PCB? Doctors or engineers?
Exhausting, huh? And irritating too. Reminds you of those clingy relatives or parent's colleagues who won't stop digging into your personal goals, doesn't it?
This was a short introduction to what a youngster, who's still in the middle of deciding what they want to be, goes through with the society, relatives, uncle-aunties and all those elderly folks who think everything in a student's life is public interest.
[Yes, I'm a teen and I'm pissed off.]
This whole questionnaire is what creates a huge concern and nervousness in the kid's/youngster's head.
Concerns like being judged, not being able to stand in balance with the pre-determined frame of a successful person by society and the worst one, being pressured by guardians.
These are just the main concerns of a teen/youngster or a student of any age between 12-20, if I were to put forward all of them, we'd have a never ending list.
So, basically our 'dear society' has a frame that everyone has to fit in and if not then be ready to face the consequences and shooting questions that make you question your dreams, choices, capability and well, yourself.
As per my personal experience and observation, the first question asked is your subject where the following MCQs are laid forward—
"Beta, have you chosen Science or commerce?"
[Read again, there's no such option as Humanities.]
Moving on.
Now, if you go with Science "PCM or PCB?" And accordingly, it is pre-assumed that every student from PCM is an aspiring Engineer and for those from PCB are about to be doctors. (I'll be coming back to this later)
But for those who're in for Commerce. Here's your pre-assumption, CA. That's it. They won't even ask you.
Ironically, these streams have more than 20-30 separate occupational fields for you to choose from, but what has been overrated is all that exists for our 'growing society'.
Now let's talk about the existent option that remains non-existent, HUMANITIES.
One of the most versatile streams to go for, unfortunately as it is open for all percentages it is assumed to be worthless. Some very important occupations for a working and growing community such as political analysts, writers, clinical psychologists, lawyers, historians, reporters, journalists etc come from the stream of humanities.
Now, coming back to PCM and PCB, the students who are pre-assumed to be aspiring Doctors or Engineers.
—PCM itself holds more than 25 separate occupational fields, Engineering being one of them yet it isn't the most paid.
—Those with PCB have about 27 occupational fields to opt for yet most of the students don't even know about them, except for Medical.
This little analysis of a simple question is just an example to show how much we have overrated two or three things and how we've been ignoring many possible opportunities with way better outcomes!
