Gata Loops in Ladakh

This road comprises more than 20 hairpin loops and heads to the highest motorable road in Ladakh. Gata Loops is located at a height of 17000 feet and thus provides so many stunning sights of the snow-laid mountains in the background and excitement filled journey till the last of it.
What makes it dangerously interesting is that the scary road with 21 loops is said to have been haunted by a ghost.
The roads will be suitable to access during the months of June to September. They are completely closed during the months of winter. The ice sheets make it deathly to take a ride.

This spiral road most certainly holds up to the name of most dizzying road in the world. Located in Sikkim, in the Himalayan mountains, the road includes more than 100 hairpins in just 30 km! It's one of the most famous hair-pinned roads in the world.
The mountainous terrain gifts one of the most wonderful views of the valley. Special precaution needs to be taken while you are travelling here as it touches an altitude of 11,200 feet.
