Once there lived a drunkard who led a completely irresponsible life and was very violent towards his wife and two sons. Years went by and the elder son became the Mayor of the town. As a young boy, he had decided not to become like his father. So he studied hard and became a responsible citizen.
However, his younger brother turned out to be a dreaded criminal and blamed the negative experiences of his childhood as the reason for his terrible condition.
Life may not always provide you with perfect conditions for growth. However, human beings are endowed with the power of choice as to what to make out of these situations. In fact, you are confronted with countless choices each day. Some choices you make may have minimal consequences in your life while some other choices can be life changing.
You are the product who you are and how you are different from others. You're not a victim of this world passively drifting along currents of time; instead you are the master of your destiny since your choices determine your destiny.
“Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for it is a thing to be achieved,” says William Jennings Bryan.
The ability to choose is truly an amazing gift you possess. Life is essentially the sum total; of all chives you make along the way. Since your destiny depends solely upon your choices, it is important that you spend quality time before you make your choices from multiple options.
The choices you make necessarily call for concrete actions that would lead you to the desired goal.
