♠️ Myth Debunking ♠️

Written by vjmarvel

Hello beautiful people. I'm VJ, your very personal myth debunker.

We all come across various myths in our day to day life, but how many of them are true?

I'm here to debunk some of the common myths that we all know.

So, let's start. The most common of all.

♦️ An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Is it true? Nah, the truth is Apples are packed with vitamin C and fiber, both of which are important to long-term health, but they aren't all you need.
And if certain viruses get into your system, an apple will unfortunately do nothing to protect you.

You're surprised aren't you? Okay, now, stop clapping. Here's another myth debunked.

♦️ You all know bananas grow on trees right ? The truth is Bananas grow on something the size of trees, but banana tree is actually not a tree. The banana plant grows up to 25 feet is actually a perennial herb.

Shocked aren't you? Relax it's just the beginning. I guess we've had enough of fruits. Let's debunk a Zoology myth.

♦️ All of you might have watched cartoons, and I think we all are well aware that ostrich bury their heads in sand, but is it true? I'm breaking your heart, but this myth isn't true.
The birds would die of suffocation if they actually stuck their heads underground when scared. Instead, they actually lie with their head and neck flat against the ground if a predator is approaching. Their light-colored head and neck blend in with the ground, which could explain why people assumed their heads were underground from faraway, according to the San Diego Zoo.

I knocked you out didn't I? Okay, enough whistling. Here's another popular myth debunked.

♦️ It's believed mother birds will reject their babies if they're touched by humans. The truth is "Most birds have a poorly developed sense of smell," says Micheal Mace, bird curator at San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal park." They won't notice a human scent."

That's it enough for today. I'm tired. Thanks for with standing me.
