♠️The Rich Beggars♠️
Written by- writes_love01
The rich beggars? What do you mean? Beggars and riches are entirely two different terms? Is that what you’re searching for?
Yes! I was about to tell you that! Well, leave that! What do you mean by “Rich Beggars”?
Beggars aren’t indeed that poor. Not all for sure! They often look shaggy, dirty, poor, illiterate and jobless, but they’re actually cunning. But only a few could succeed being cunning and their transformation from beggars to world-known rich people. There are a bunch of people who are beggars but are actually the Ambanis of India. Owning from huge flats to long-spread estates. But who are those lucky charms hidden beneath the huge flats and into the streets of the beggars? The ones who still beg professionally and earn from it too!
Bharat Jain
The first person on our list is Bharat Jain. (His name probably reminded me of the old film star Jayan, from Mollywood) Bharat Jain was from Mumbai and used to beg at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus or Azad Maidan. But, in 2015, his life changed from a normal beggar to a world-known rich person. Bharat is a 49-year-old man who has sixty-thousand rupees monthly, just through begging. He owns two 1BHK flats each valued at 70 lakhs. That’d total up to be 140 lakhs per month. Added to that, he also has a shop given for rent at 10,000 rupees per month. And even after these many riches, he also has a family business of school materials and things related to school and study. Jain lives with his wife, two children, father and brother and he still hasn’t left begging!
Damn, this guy is so rich even though he is a beggar. His looks might fool you, but Nah, he’s a millionaire.
Sarvatia Devi
Sarvatia Devi is considered one of the richest female beggars in India. She lived in Patna, right behind the Asok Cinema. She might be a beggar, but she’s even smarter than you think she is. She pays for annual premium insurance of 36,000 rupees just by begging. This is enough to prove that she’s smart enough to find a way for her to live her life. Sarvatia Devi begged at the trains and the people who gave her the money never knew she was an owner of the property worth 10 lakhs. She has a house of her own and she is truly rich but in disguise as a beggar. She has a monthly income of rupees 50,000 and this is quite actually enough for a person to live for a month! Her daughter is married and well settled. Sarvatia Devi has travelled a lot to pilgrimages and even begs on the trains she travels.
Sambhaji Kale
The next beggar, err- The next rich beggar on our list is Sambhaji Kale. He is so rich that he owns real estates, a flat, land and two houses in Solapur. He surely doesn’t sound like a beggar, but there’s more. He has made plenty of investments meriting thousands and even has a bank balance of lakhs. With his family of four, he gets over 1,000 rupees as a daily income and lives a good life.
Laxmi Das
Another female beggar who has gotten into the headlines is Laxmi Das. She had begun her journey of begging at the early age of 16 at the streets of Kolkata in 1964. Laxmi, a polio-affected person, even after 5 decades, still is rich enough for her to live. She has a monthly income of over 30,000 and it sounds enough for the hard work she proffers for her begging. Laxmi Das also has a great bank balance enough for her to survive.
Kumar Gite
Kumar is a professional beggar from the Charni road in Mumbai who earns almost 1,500 rupees per day through begging. This person has a flat worth rupees 15 lakhs at one of Mumbai’s premium destinations, Nala Sopara. Gite now lives with his brother in the flat. He doesn’t sound much great until you hear about his premium flat, right?
Pappu Kumar
This guy is a specially-abled person who has properties worth 1.25 crores. Pappu lives in Patna and used to beg at Patna’s railway station. He has a fractured leg because of the accident he met with but this doesn’t let him stop from creating four bank accounts in his name. Is he a beggar itself? o.O
Massu/Malana
This guy is also from Mumbai who goes to his begging spot on an auto-rickshaw and returns on the same. I don’t know if the people giving him the money even know or see this? He also changes to his costume for begging right after reaching his begging spot. He begs over there for almost 8-10 hours every day. This is not just the end. Massu begs in front of the restaurants which give him an average monthly income ranging from 30,000 to 40,000. Massu not only has this much income but also has properties worth rupees 30 lakhs in the same city!
After reading all these beggars’ income, I want to leave my studies and go begging. I might be a billionaire soon and would be famous. Well, these stories might sound a bit unimaginable, but they’re true. Not all beggars are millionaires, but a few who take begging seriously and as their job, have only become so successful. Being a beggar doesn’t seem so bad now, but you need to know that even in begging, you need to hard work.
This also shows that we should never judge a person by their outer appearance and their job. They might look too poor or too casual, but there might be a hidden millionaire inside them. Anyone’s outer appearance never shows a person’s inside perspective. They can be too cunning and they might fool you very easily. They might be really nice, but we’ll never know! We might criticise a person on their appearance and their behaviour. But, we never see how that person really thinks and lives. That’s where we go wrong. Maybe some people would be thinking you’re not actually a good person, while only your closest people might know your actual perspective. We can stop judging and start understanding.
