♠️Growing obsession with Western Culture♠️

India is a country known for its cultures and diversities. People from all around the world visit India to explore its rich past ,its cultures its customs, its traditions and a whole lot of its languages.
India has a total of 22 languages spoken state wise. Hindi, being the most prevalent language is referred to as our mother tongue. It is often described as a standardised and Sanskritised register of the Hindustani language.Written in the Devanagari script,it is one of the two official languages of the Government of India, along with the English language.
India can be referred to as one of the strongest countries because being ruled by British for over 200 years it has still recovered a lot and is on the path of becoming a developed Nation.
Through the British rule in India has taken a lot from it but it also has given much and the western culture is one of those. The western culture has a lot of benefits, it is taking India to the top yet it is also doing a very cruel thing that is erasing our rich cultures and diversities.
People of India especially teenagers and youngsters became so obsessed with western culture that they don't even know their own history . We hear a lot that students hate History and Hindi because it "sucks" and it is "boring".
Most of the students focus more on English because they think that India does not have enough opportunities for them.
The major part of their mind set is developed from their parents. They don't care much if their child fails in Hindi because according to them they have to go to foreign lands and settle their so it's most important for the child to learn English.
At last I would say that India is our country so if we give our efforts in developing our country it will surely rise to the top.
