God said in His Word that we should love our enemies. But did you know?

There are enemies that shouldn't love! We have enemies that we shouldn't give a chance over us!

Those enemies are the enemies of God. They are Satan and his allies.

"Jesus' enemies kept watching him closely, because they wanted to hand him over to the Roman governor. So they sent some men who pretended to be good. But they were really spies trying to catch Jesus saying something wrong." -Luke 20:20

Always remember that the enemies of God is also our enemies! In Ephesians 6:12, the Apostle Paul stated different terms referring to our enemies: rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

What does those terms means?
It means that Satan have a lot of allies or descendants with different ranks and levels but have only one goal: to make you fall into sin and not attain eternal life!

And these enemies keep on watching us, just like how the Roman governor in the passage keep watch of Jesus.

Keep in mind that your enemies will do everything to hand you over Satan!

It was mentioned that the Roman governor sent some men to pretend to be good. There are so many situations, opportunities and things in life that are just pretending to be good but actually those are just the enemies' tactics!

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all opportunities in life are not good for us and just a tactic of satan but we should discern what opportunity came from God or not.

"The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it." -Proverbs 10:22

God's provision will never lead you to destruction or depression.

In John 10:10 says, The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But Christ has come to give us prosperous life.

How do we learn in this message?

As a Christian, it is our responsibility to be Hawk-eyed!

Hawk-eyed according to Merriam Webster:
- having very good eyesight.
- watching carefully; vigilant.

If the enemies are always keep on watching us carefully, we must also keep on carefully watching our faith and enemies' tactics!

How to be a Hawk-eyed Christian?
1. Be wise in your walk.

"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." -Ephesians 5:15-17

2. Be critical with every spirit!

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." -1 John 4:1

Discerning spirits and tactics of the enemy is something that we Christians should be doing all the time for the devil takes no break!

Remember: No part-time Christians could ever fight against a full-time devil.

Shalom!
Glory be all to God! :)
