"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field-and to get the treasure, too!

Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a pearl merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it." -Matthew 13:44-46

The will of God here on earth is that for His Kingdom come and His will be done as it is in heaven.

What does it mean? That this earth wil be an extention of Heaven-God's kingdom, God's love, God's mercy and God's grace!

Life here on earth is just a preparation to eternal life in the Kingdom of God which is in Heaven.

If we do not know and if we are not reigned by God here on earth, how could we live in His Kingdom for eternity? It is impossible for a man not to be reighned by God's kingdom if He really accepted Christ as the Lord of His life

What does it mean by saying "be reigned by God's Kingdom?"

Being reigned by the Kingdom of God means that we are reigning by love of Christ or in layman's term, we are full of Christ's love, not hate.

Being reigned by Kingdom of God means that we are full of joy from Christ, not depression. Being reigned by the Kingdom of God means we are full of peace from Jesus, not by worries.

It means we are full of patience, not impatience; we are full of kindness, not rudeness; we are full of goodness, not wrongdoings; we are full of gentleness, not abrasiveness; and full of self-control, not incontinence.

Everyone who accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior of their lives will be reigned by God's Kingdom but it is not a one shot act!
It is an everyday decision.

So, the question is: Do you want to the Kingdom of God reign on you?

How could you be filled with the Kingdom of God?

#1 Parable: Treasure hidden in the field.

The Kingdom of God is not just the treasure, it is also the entire field. So the man found joy when he found God's Kingdom. With his joy, he sells all he has just to have that field. Take note of that.

#2 Parable: Pearl of Great Value

When the man found a pearl of hreat value, he only needs to grab it right? Because it is him who found it. Since it was lost, and was hidden for a long time, the man who found it will automaticalltly be the owner of it. Yet, he sold all that he had and bought that pearl. Does it make sense?

It's like when you have found a dollar or peso bill in the middle of the road, does it make sense when you just grab it? Because you wouldn't know its owner, unless there's an identity of the owner in that bill (kidding). But, none right? In a natural circumstance, you will just grab it and own it. But why the man in the parable, needes to sell everything he have and brought that pearl? And where did he gave the payment? I don't know. No one knows.

But you know what, in order for us to be reigned by the Kingdom of God, fully filled by it, we must give up our everything-yes every single thing. Without any reservation.

W-wait! W-Wait! Are you kidding me? I am not that insane to do what you want! Every single thing I have? My money? My career? My house? My beloved ones? My life? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Hey, relax. It's not litetally like that. Yes, you will give up including those things but not literally. Giving up your everything to God means allowing Him to take control of those everything. Allowing Him to be the Lord of your everything. Because He must be the Lord, He must be the rightful one to drive your life.

Also, giving up means surrenddring your worldly desires and selfish desires. Every rubbish treasures we have that hinders our growth in Christ.

Remember: You will not be truly be filled with God's Kingdom if there's some thing/s that still reigning.

Is it your phone? (Mostly, it is. I admit that most of the times, I am as well)
Is it online or offline games?
Is it idols?
Is it career or studies?

Come to thing of things that becomes your FIRST aside from God. Give it up. Surrender. Let God be sitted on the throne of your heart again. Let God be sitted on the throne of your life. Of your everything.

You know what, when you give it all uo to God, He will reign upon your life. And when He reign upon your life, He will not lead you astray. He will not make you a failure. He will not disappoint you. That's for sure.

Shalom!
Glory be all to God! :)
