MOMENT 15: Benefits of Believing

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so thay by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. -Romans 15:13

As you believe in God, you will experience not just benefits while you are still here on earth, but benefits that will lasts until eternally:

1. Joy
- a feeling of great happiness

Not your achievements. Not your fame. Not your money. Not even your love ones. Nothing could ever bring you joy but Christ alone.

Jesus has taught us joy even at the midst of troubles or trials: "Blessed are you when men hate you... Be glad in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven" (Luke 6:22-23).

Jesus will not state something if it is not possible. Joy is possible even of we are experiencing problems in life only if we are focused on our reward above rather than in our feeling that is just temporal.

Joy also comes from the Holy Spirit: The fruit of the Spirit is ... joy...(Galatians 5:22). God has given us the Holy Spirit the moment we accepted and believed in Jesus as our Lord and Savior then this joy comes through our faith, that is from believing God.

The joys of the world is nothing compared to the Joy in Christ!

2. Peace
- harmony in personal relations

It is not the peace that the world gives but the peace that only God can give (John 14:27). When peace comes from God, even if you are in the midst of troubles, you will not worry so much but you will remain still for knowing who your God is.

3. Hope
- the feeling of wanting something to happen and thinking that it could happen.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. -Hebrews 11:1

Don't lose your belief in the Lord about the things you are hoping to have or to happen. For your benefits in believing in Him will not be wasted and will not easily be ruined. These will last eternally along with your life with Him.

If we are to desire something for ourselves, do'n na tayo sa kalidad! Yung alam nating magtatagal at siguradong pangwalang hanggan!

(If we desire something for ourselves, let us choose the one with great quality! The one that we know thay will last longer and for eternity for sure!)
