[ A/N: ENGLISH VERSION OF THIS CHAPTER IS PLACED AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT AFTER THE FILIPINO VERSION. :) ]
God's Spirit cannot dwell on a jar that is full. In order to experience fullness of God, we must empty ourselves first.
2. Taong gutom

REBUKE/CORRECTION
One who is full loathes honey, but to one who is hungry everything bitter is sweet. -Proverbs 27:7
There are two kinds of people when being corrected by God:
1. FULL PERSON (full as in full in food)
This is a kind of person that refuses the corretion of God. You see, someone that is already full with food in his stomach can no longer eat or accept food for his body. That's also how a person who is so full of himself and so full of worldliness can no longer accept God's correction. The honey mentioned in the verse refers to the rebuke or correction of God in a form of sweet or simple words to be less offensive. But this is still being refused by a person who is full.
God's Spirit cannot dwell on a jar that is full. In order to experience fullness of God, we must empty ourselves first.
2. Hungry person
- this is a kind of person that accepts God's correction even if he knows that it is to hard or hurtful to bear. The bitter mentioned in the verse refers to the bitter or hurtful words from God in order to correct a person. But a person who is hungry for correction sees it as nutrition of his spirit and faith. Even the hurtful correction of God is like a sweet honey for him.
When God is making us see our sins, we must be like a hungry person and delighful to accept his rebukes or corrections because it is for our own good.
My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. -Proverbs 3:11-12
Correction is for your own good.
