Our life here on earth is like a by chance. It seems like you are just guessing. You are not sure if tomorrow, you will still wake up or you will still be alive. You have no idea if later on, you will eventually die.

Same as with our future, it leaves us hanging. Future is the most problem and worry if people especially those who are graduating and fresh graduates... You are dreaming for yourself about what you want to be in the future but when you look into reality—EVERYTHING IS UNSURE.

But don't forget that we live by faith and not by sight! Let's take a look at what the Bible says..

"Your future will be brighter by far than you past." -Job 8:7

If you know Job, he has the toughest life discussed in the Bible. No one has ever experienced what he had experienced. He lost all his properties and even his children. He also lost his health. Everything was taken away from him.

You know what? This Job 8:7 was given to me by God after I have suffered from the most traumatic experience I ever been...

I think, all of the most of the most painful words in the world, I have heard and given unto me. I was grade 4 when my teacher in English degrade me as a person just because of my bad grammar in formal theme.

I was Grade 7 when my math teacher told me that I am dumb and idiot because I had a wrong answer in her question. Aside from the curses or bad words, I have been given such words like:  "you will never graduate," "you will never be successful in life," "you will remain that way," "you were nothing," "no matter what you do, you will never achieve anything..." and those words came from a relative. Not a close one actually, but it still hurts. It's painful. It's traumatic.

Until now, I'm still suffering from those words that I always doubt about my future. I always cry out to God and begs Him to make me successful after I finish studying. I always cry my heart out to God everytime I am failing in my quizes or exams, those words keeps banging on my head.

Remember, when God says something, He said it! When He promised something, He mean it! His Words will never turn back to him without accomplishing its purpose.  All of His Words will always be done by Him!

Isaiah 55:11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

Since His Words remains in a form of promise.. In your waiting season you must:

1. Trust Him (His ways and His will)
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Give you whole heart in trusting the Lord, without any doubts. How would God move in your dreams if you are doubting in His power? Don't do something in your own way and understanding. God knows what He is doing. Trust Him.

2. Make Him your Buddy
Proverbs 16:3 Share your plans with the Lord and you will succeed

Sharing your plans is sharing with Him every decision that you will make. It doesn't mean that when you share your decisions and plans to God, automatically you'll be successful right away. No. Of course, God knows everything and in everything He works for your own good. When God sees that your plans are not good for you, or your plab is not in-line will His will, He will revise it.

Remember number 1? TRUST GOD. When something happens which is not in accors with your plans, even though you share it with God, that means God revised it. I repeat, God knows what He is doing.

Look at this:.
Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Remember, everyone that has God as their buddy are WINNERS. They are never a loser! (Joshua, David, Job, Solomon, Paul... I know you are as well)

Dear Lord,
I may not know who am I in the future... I may not sure about my future... But this is my confidence: YOU ARE IN CONTROL. I trust You.

Shalom!
Glory be all to God! :)
