MOMENT 31: AUGUSTo mo ba ng Assurance?

AU-GUSTo mong manatili ang Diyos sayo hanggang wakas?
AU-GUSTo mo rin bang manatili sa Kanya hanggang wakas?
AU-GUSTo mo ba ng ASSURANCE?

Marami sa atin, lalo na sa mga Kristyano, mahilig kunin at panghawakan ang Philippians 1:6 na sinasabing.. "and I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."

This becomes our confidence that God will remain faithful to us until the end. Yes, God is faithful. He remains faithful even if we are no longer faithful to Him (2 Timothy 2:13). Pero lisensya ba ito para magpa-petiks petiks tayo sa relasyon natin sa Kanya? SYEMPRE HINDI 😊

Marami ang huminto na sa kanilang pananampalataya at tuluyan ng nawalan ng pag-asa dahil sila mismo ay nawala na rin sa Salita. Iniwan ba sila ng Diyos? No. Sila ang nang-iwan sa Diyos. Binatawan na ba sila ng Diyos? No. Siya ang bumitaw sa Diyos.

We cannot deny the consequences of our unfaithfulness through our disobedience. God is faithful but He is not tolerating our waywardness.

Look at the preceeding verses...
(v3-5) I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.

It is Paul who wrote this letter to the Christians in the church of Philippi. He is expressing his joy towards them because he says that whenever he is praying to God, he knows that they will "keep their partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now."
ANONG IBIG SABIHIN NITO?

The Christians in the Church of Philippi continue their devotion to God through His Words (the Gospel) from the very first day they receive it until that day that Paul is writing that their.

Faith comes from hearing the Word, says in Romans 10:17. Sa pamamagitan Salita na naibahagi sa atin kaya natin nakilala si Hesus at nagkaroon ng kaligtasan. Sa pamamagitan ng Salita, patuloy tayong nakakalakad sa katuwiran ng Diyos. Ang salita Niya ay ang ating MANUAL—mula noong unang narinig at tinanggap natin ito hanggang sa muli Siyang bumalik.

At anong sabi ni Paul?
He is SURE, na 'yong INUMPISAHAN NG DIYOS sa BUHAY MO ('yong pinasimulan ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng salita Niya kaya ka nakakilala sa Kanya) ay TATAPUSIN NIYA hanggang sa bumalik Siya.

Alam mo ba mangyayari pag bumalik Siya?
'Yon 'yong araw na ikakasal sa Kanya mga mga naging tapat sa Kanya.
Kaya nga sinasabi sa altar diba "till death do us part"
Pero ang vow natin sa Diyos ganito, "Lord, till the end do us part"
Kaya tignan mo ulit yung verse 4, sabi dun "partneship with the Gospel" The Gospel which is the Word and the Word which is God Himself.

God will KEEP your:
☑️ Faith in Him
☑️ Love for Him
☑️ Fire for Him
☑️ Life in Him
—UNTIL THE END if you keep yourself in His Words UNTIL THE END.

God will COMPLETE YOUR:
☑️ Faith in Him
☑️ Character after His likeness
☑️ Fire for Him
☑️ Love for Him
☑️ Life in Him
—if you continue your DEVOTION to Him when His time is COMPLETE!

'Yan ang assurance mo!
God will keep you until the end of this world if you keep yourself in His Words. SIGURADO 'YAN! :)
