MOMENT 2: T.R.U.S.T.

Minsan ka na bang hinarang ng isang naka-kurbata sa mall at inalok ng isang product? Matapos ang ilang minutong diskusyon, nagtiwala kang totoo ang produkto hanggang sa binili mo ito... only to find out na naloko ka lang?

Minsan ka na bang nagtiwala sa isang kaibigan, binigay mo lahat ng sikreto mo dahil nangako siyang hindi ito ipagkakalat sa kahit na kanino, tapos bigla mo lang nalaman na kwinento niya na pala sa iba?

O kaya naman, minsan ka na bang nahulog sa isang tao at nagtiwala—akala mo siya na, pero sa huli, iniwan ka rin?

At sa gitna ng lahat ng 'yan, natanong mo na ba sa sarili mo... "Paano ba ulit magtiwala kapag nasaktan ka na?"
"Worth it pa ba ang magtiwala?"
"At kanino ba talaga dapat ilagay ang buong tiwala ko?"

Part of loving is TRUSTING.
You cannot love the one you cannot trust.
And you cannot trust the one you that do not love.

Minsan, akala natin love lang sapat na... pero darating talaga yung point na tatanungin ka ng buhay na., "Gaano kalalim ang tiwala mo?" Kasi doon nasusukat ang tunay na pagmamahal.

So if you LOVE God, you should TRUST Him.

Isaiah 26:3-4 The Lord gives perfect peace to those whose faith is firm. So always trust the Lord because he is forever our mighty rock.

In the midst of trials, battles, struggles, tears... If we don't have PEACE then our faith in the Lord isn't firm. Parang ang hirap pakinggan, pero minsan hindi problema ang kulang... kundi tiwala. Kasi kung buo ang tiwala mo, kahit umiiyak ka, may kapayapaan pa rin sa puso mo.

It is clearly stated in the Word of God: He gives perfect peace to those people whose faith is strong, unshakeable and firm in the Lord. So, for those who doesn't have this firm faith or still wavering with their belief in God, then they are those who doesn't have peace. John 14:27 says Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

You will encounter people who are constantly worrying about their problems. They keep thinking about how to resolve them, unable to find peace even in their sleep. This happens because they lack sufficient trust in the Lord. Why? Because they don't really know who the Lord is. The One who can make impossible things possible. The One who is Greater than any other things.

Remember: You will only trust someone you that you know. Simple pero totoo. Hindi ka basta nagtitiwala sa stranger... kaya kung hirap kang magtiwala sa Diyos, baka hindi mo pa Siya lubos na nakikilala.)

Do you really know the Lord? And if you know who He is, then it will no longer be hard for you to trust Him.

How to make your faith firm in the Lord? You have to T.R.U.S.T.

T- Talk to God through Prayer

Prayer allows you to talk to God! Prayer expresses your trust in God! Kapag may tiwala ka sa isang tao, hindi ka natatakot mag-open up. Ganun din sa Diyos—kung nagtitiwala ka, lalapit ka. When you trust someone, you are willing to share your thoughts and feelings without hesitation. You are sharing your problems to the one you trust, to the one you are close to.

The same way with God, if you trust Him, you are willing to share your anything to Him. 1 Timothy 2:8 says, I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. The time you spend on worrying and thinking negative things must be shifted into spending time to pray.

To worry is a waste of time. This is a foolish thing to do. But to PRAY is the wisest thing to do. Hindi naman agad mawawala ang problema... pero mag-iiba ang puso mo habang hinaharap mo ito.
