"And the Lord said: Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men, therefore, behold, I will again do wonderful things with this people, with wonder upon wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden." -Isaiah 29:13-14

SPIRITUAL WORSHIP IS IN THE HEART OF WORSHIP.

There was one time, it was Sabbath I wondered why I can't feel God's Presence. I can't feel that He is near me. It seems like He is not touching me when I could see my brothers and sisters being touch by His Spirit. And I wondered, why am I not being touched? I singing louder. I kneel more. I bowed down, face to floor. Still, I can't experience His touch.

And I was crying and crying. I feel jealous with my brothers and sisters, in my heart, I also want to experience the very thing that they are experiencing in the Presence of the Lord whenever they are worshiping.

When I go home, I prayed and read the Bible and do my daily devotion. You know what? God made me realized that, worship is not an ordinary singing, dancing, lifting up the hands, kneeling or the like in the midst of singing worship songs. It is not just a song. Not just a minute or an hour singing and raising up your hands. Worship is an act beyond your natural capacity because it is in Spirit and in Truth.

Real worship is an act of responding to the Love of God with a heart that is close to the Lord.

Why is it too hard to get closer to God during Sabbath Worship Proper? Simply because your worship is fake. It is done with mouth. God rebuked me that day.

A heart that is truly close to God is indeed close to Him every day.

- It is not hard to approach God during Sabbath if you are approaching Him every day.

- It is not hard for you to experienxe His Presence during Sabbath if you are desiring to experience Him everyday.

- It is not hard to be changed by God during Sabbath through preaching if you are allowing Him to change you everyday.

God is NOT a god we worship just on Sabbath day. Because He is not just God during Sabbath day.
He is the God who deserves to be worshipped every single day!

He is God, every single day and forevermore!

Also, we do not worship God because we want to feel Him. We worship God because we already felt Him, we already experience Him before. You have to understand that worship is meant to be raise towards God, not God will come down just to give what you want.

Of course, God wants to touch you, but remember... In worship, God is being glorified. God must be exalted. Gid must be praise. That's the sole pupose of worship! When you are being touch by God during worship, that's just a bonus for you.

But worship is worship when you know in your Spirit that you have glorified the Lord.

God's Promise to those who worship Him truly: He will do wonderful things with winder upon wonder. Wheb you almost forget how to worship with closer heart to the Lord, He will make a reason and way for you!

But actually, God need not to make wonders just for you to worship Him. The Bible says that He can turn stones as His worshippers when no one is worshiping Him.

Don't worship God because you have received blessings, worship God even in drought season of your life!

Worship Him even when you can't see His hands. Worship Him even if you can't feel His presence. Worship Him even if you still having receiving answers in your prayers! Worship Him because of who He is—God! Our Jehovah Jireh! Our Jehovah Nissi! Our Jehovah Shalom! Jehovah Tsidkenu! Our Prince of Prince! The Lord of lords! The King of kings!

Let us go back ti the heart of worship. The heart that worships, honors and desires the Lord every single day.

Shalom!
Glory be all to God! :)
