Psalm 45:11 The King is your husband, so do what he desires.
The day that you accepted Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior, is the day that you are considered married to Him and He became your Husband. For you don't accept Him for religious belief, but i has a corresponding covenant. It is a commitment.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation..
A person who is married is already one with his spouse. The concept of marriage in this world is this: a woman would change her surname into the surname of her suppose-to-be-husband. This is the same as the concept of having a relationship with Jesus. When we became one with Jesus, we change our identity into His identity. We forget our own name, our own identity for we now follow our husband's identity.
Genesis 2:24 stated "...He marries a woman, and the two of them become like one person."
The moment you accepted God's authority over your life, it is as if you am married to Him and you become one with Him. But remember, you can never understand what it means to be one with God if you are still in yourself and deciding alone for yourself.
Let your husband, which is God, be one with you in every decision that you are going to do.
A MUST AS A MARRIED WOMAN:
What God desires?
Colossians 3:18 A wife must put her husband first. This is her duty as a follower of the Lord. What does it mean to make God your first?
☑️ Talk to Him first before anyone else. Before you do anything else first thing before you start your day.
☑️ Turn to Him first when you need someone to talk to.
☑️ Listen first to Him than to yourself or other people's advices or opinions.
☑️ Include Him in every activity, every problem, every decision, and even in the every thought of yours.
This is part of your commitment.
Matthew 6:33 Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.Yes, you are talking to God through prayer. Yes, you are making God a part your deeds. Yes, you are doing every thing for Him. But the question is, is it really God your first? Is it really God your priority?
Because there are difference between doing and prioritizing.
Prioritize God before doing something for Him.
Prioritize being in His Presence. Prioritize seeking His heart. Prioritize finding His face. Prioritize GOD.Luke 10:38- 42 Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me. But the Lord answered her, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.
Just like Mary and Martha, many people open their lives for Jesus to enter in. But the differences is that: others open their lives for Jesus to have an intimate-personal relationship with Him, just how Mary showed it in the passage.
Others, like Martha, open their lives for Jesus but become too anxious in serving Him that they unconciously set aside their time to build a close bond with Jesus.
When we become too preoccupied with much serving, we will miss the great opportunity to have a moment with our dear Jesus. We will miss the chance to directly hear wisdom from Him.
The tendency would be, like Martha, we will just struggle doing certain things when we don't come to the Source first. And remember this Source is your Husband. He is God. He is Jesus. The story in Luke 10:38-42 points out about making Jesus and His Words our first priority.
You see, serving and pleasing Jesus is a good thing, but to be in His Presence is the best thing! Nothing can compare to the moments you have with your ever-loving Jesus.
Loving God above all is putting Him first before anything/anyone else. We must always remember what is the most important.
Bride of God, your Husband loves you so dearly. He loves you unconditionally.
