These questions are exciting, aren't they? We spend so much time planning the "perfect day"—the flowers, the dress, the music, the vows because we know that marriage is a profound, life-altering commitment.

But have you ever stopped to realize that if you are a follower of Christ, you are already living out a supernatural, eternal wedding?

Psalm 45:11 The King is your husband, so do what he desires.

The day that you accepted Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior, is the day that you are considered married to Him and He became your Husband. For you don't accept Him for religious belief, but i has a corresponding covenant. It is a commitment.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation.

A person who is married is already one with his spouse. The concept of marriage in this world symbolizes a transition of identity, where a woman would change her surname into the surname of her suppose-to-be-husband.

This is the same as the concept of having a relationship with Jesus. When we became one with Jesus, we change our identity into His identity. We forget our own name, our own identity for we now follow our husband's identity.

Genesis 2:24 stated "...He marries a woman, and the two of them become like one person."
The moment you accepted God's authority over your life, it is as if you are married to Him and you become one with Him. But remember, you can never understand what it means to be one with God if you are still in yourself and deciding alone for yourself.

True intimacy begins when you stop deciding alone.

Let your husband, which is God, be one with you in every decision that you are going to do.

A MUST AS A MARRIED WOMAN

Being a married woman to the King comes with a duty. Colossians 3:18 reminds us that a wife's devotion is to her husband. To make God your first priority means more than just a morning prayer; it is a lifestyle.

What does it mean to make God your first?

I. Talk to Him first before anyone else. Before your feet touch the floor, before you check your phone, before you seek human advice—talk to Him.

The first person you talk to sets the tone for your entire day. It's a declaration that you acknowledge Him as your Husband and Head. Start your day by inviting His presence, because He is the one who holds your tomorrow.

II. Listen first to Him than to yourself or other people's advices or opinions. Human opinions are many, but His wisdom is absolute. Are you listening to His voice over your own anxieties?
