Mark told me he had to go see Cyndago for a video that they needed to make, and that he would be gone for a month. A whole month by myself, alone. I helped him pack, and went with him to buy his plane ticket. I sat on his bed as he finished packing. He then sat down next to me, and hugged me." Don't worry, I'll be back in a month."

"Yeah, and that means I'll be alone for a month." I said almost crying, and I could feel him tighten his grip around him." I promise I'll text and call you when I can." I smiled, and helped him with his things. He got into a cab, and then he was gone. I started crying on the street, and wiped my eyes so no one would see me. I went up to my apartment, and started making videos. The next day was a work day, which meant also school. I was beaten up at the bus stop, and also at the end of school." Where's your fucking brother now?" Tommy said as he beat me with his fists. I still went to work, but didn't do any fighting practice. I walked home, and had to run past Tommy to get to my apartment. The rest of the month wasn't as pleasant. Pretty soon Tommy started using metal baseball bats and brass knuckles.

Some other bullys would get me on the way to work, and hit me with a bag of soap. In half a month, my face had swollen to the size of a balloon. I had to stay home at least three times just so I had time to heal up my wounds. I didn't answer Mark's calls or texts, I didn't want him to know about this. But his texts got really worried, but I still didn't answer. I started to have attacks in classes due to the bullying, and the teachers had to escort me to the office. I told them what was happening, and they tried what they could. Taking Tommy off the bus, making his parents escort him to school, placing him in different classes, but nothing worked. I was still being bullied as I walked to work.

When it was the day Mark was suppose to come home, I hid in my bedroom. I locked my door, and sat on my bed sobbing. How can I let him see me like this? I heard the loud footsteps coming up to my floor, and I hid my face under my hood. I heard my apartment door unlock, and Mark running up my stairs. I heard my door open, and pulled my hood down." Hey Mati!" His voice got really quiet, and he walked over to the bed. He then pulled my hood off my head, and he saw my face. I had bruises all over, and a black eye. I started sobbing as Mark's face turned to shock. He sat down next to me on the bed, and held me in his arms.

"I'm never leaving you alone again." He was crying, and I clutched onto his shirt. He was trembling, and so was I. We laid down on my bed together, with me in his arms. I could tell he was upset, but I didn't want him to do anything that could put him in jail. We laid on the bed until we both fell asleep.
