Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

"Ohhh, you're really handsome, baby!" Sonbi slurred to Yeol as she was assisted from getting up by her fiancé. Sonbi started pinching Yeol's cheeks.

Yeol is indeed a tall, good looking man. Eunmi considers him as her brother, very funny though loud. Yeol had already proven how much he loves Sonbi since the beginning of them dating. He was ambushed in the past followed by grilling and scrutiny from Eunmi and Hemi. The same goes for Jongin, but it was Eunmi and Sonbi did the grilling. Eunmi is very happy both of her bestfriends where the dream girls of their fiancés.

Hemi giggled. "My Jongin-ah is more handsome! Hihihi!" as Yeol helped her stand as well.

Yeol can't help but fluster at the two ladies giggling and laughing at the same time. "I wonder if Jongin will be happy seeing you like this." he muttered.

"He knows and he approved of it 100%! Hihihi!" pointed Hemi to Yeol's cheek whilst swaying.

"Geesh! How much alcohol have you all drunk?" as he tries to balance the two ladies in each hand.

"Yeol, watch it!" Eunmi said as Sonbi tripped.

"Oopps!" Sonbi just laugh making Hemi laugh too. It's a good thing Yeol is a strong man and can hold both ladies at the same time. Eunmi helped Sonbi and Hemi too by putting their arms on Yeol's shoulder for support and in turn he wrapped his arms on both of their waists.

Amongst the three, Eunmi has the highest alcohol tolerance but she knew it's getting in her head as she swayed whilst walking behind her friends on their way out. They were the only remaining guests at the bar at that time since its almost one in the morning.

"Eunmi, are you ok? Stay here for the mean time while I bring these two upstairs. Sit on the couch first and I'll come back as fast as I can." Yeol said when he saw Eunmi swayed.

"Nonsense. I can still manage. It's because of my heels why I swayed. You know that I hate wearing this kind of shoes if not only for Hemi's persistence." Eunmi half-lied.

Hemi became her informal fashion adviser since time immemorial. She was known to be a tomboy by the way she dresses but Hemi will always provide her gowns and shoes for special parties. Eunmi's office uniforms were also tailored by Hemi. Since Sonbi was a fashionista by herself, she just receives whatever clothes Hemi had designed for the three of them.

Eunmi knew she badly needed to lie down or any minute she will pass out. She doesn't want to be a burden to Yeol since he was already having difficulty keeping her two almost-sleeping bestfriends standing.

Eunmi knew Yeol is busy making blueprints for a 20-story building nowadays which he commissioned. The faster they go up to their rooms, he can soon return to his drawings, she thought. She was glad when they have reached the elevators.

It was almost closing when Eunmi pressed the open button and got out again. Yeol looked confused.

"What's the matter, Eunmi?" he asked.

"Yeol, go ahead with Sonbi and Hemi. I forgot my mobile phone at the bar. You know how important it is to me." Eunmi started walking back to the hotel's bar whilst removing her heels.

"Ok but come up soon. I'll leave your's and Hemi's room open so that you can come in." he said. Yeol knew she doesn't have their room keycard.

Eunmi looked back and nodded as the elevator door closes. She cursed herself for leaving her mobile knowing she is really drunk. She badly wanted to lie down and sleep.

Luckily, her mobile was where she left it. She picked it up and quickly said goodnight to the bartender.

Whilst waiting for the elevator to arrive, she leaned on the marbled wall for support with her eyes close. She was surprised when she heard the ding of the opening elevator. Pressing the number of their room floor, she once again leaned on the mirrored panel of the elevator and closed her eyes.

As she stepped out of the elevator, she saw Yeol on the corridor half dragging Sonbi towards their own room about ten yards from her. She thought Hemi is most probably asleep by now. Her vision is already blurry, she groaned as her surroundings started to spin.

"Now I'm really, really drunk!" she exhaled.

Unfortunately for Eunmi, she tripped making her heels fly a couple of feet away from her. She quickly moved to where they were and bent down to pick them up but wished she didn't. Eunmi's view of the surroundings was really distorted that she held her head and practically half ran to their room. She leaned on the wall next to the door for support for a few minutes before pushing it open.

Once inside the room, Eunmi let go of her shoes, undressed herself with eyes close leaving a trail of clothes as she advanced to her own bed. Only her underwear remained when she crawled under the duvet. She thanked Yeol in her head for switching the air condition unit before leaving as she is feeling really hot. She originally planned to have a shower when they were still at the bar before hitting the comforts of the soft bed however Eunmi is now too drunk to do so.

Everything went black as she laid on her stomach, traveling off to dreamland. She did not notice Hemi is not in the bed nor the absence of gifts in the room. If she only did scan their hotel room before passing out, she would have asked herself why a gentleman's black suit is hanging in the chair at the far end of the room near the curtained window.

Little did she know, a man just came out of the shower from the adjusting room clad only with a bathrobe to cover his indecency. The man was drying his hair with a small towel whilst walking to the coffee table not noticing the invader of his bed. He tossed the towel to the chair as he picked up some documents to review. He was about to sit on the couch when his eyes caught a pair of moss green high-heeled shoes by the door. A frown creased his smooth forehead.

He stood up to check it but also saw the trail of clothes lying on the carpet. Then on cue, his gaze fell on the bed noticing a lump under the sheets.

He carefully lifted the duvet and got shocked at the semi-naked, short-haired, petite woman lying prone under it.
