Chapter 6

CHAPTER 6

The elevator door was already closed when the man turned his back as if something has caught his attention. When he didn't see anything, he proceeded walking to his hotel room still giving instructions on whomever he was talking to.

"Jongdae, call the pilot to pick me up around 10am. Proceed first with the said agenda and inform them I'll be arriving before eleven. I quickly just needed to settle something first, alright. Yes, I will see you later. Bye." Kyungsoo finished the conversation with his assistant as he inserts the keycard into the door.

He was expecting the woman he made love to still sleeping. Just thinking about her, something stirred down his loins. He shook his head, the woman was insatiable!

When he woke up around seven in the morning, he knew he wanted another round with her. He controlled himself and instead went for a shower. Afterwards, he ordered room service with some aspirin just in case she wakes up.

He decided to run at the hotel's gym to avoid himself from staring at her the whole time since he cannot concentrate with the documents he was reading.

Kuungsoo was surprised to see the bed tidy, and notice the breakfast trolley was touched. Thinking the woman must be inside the shower room, he helped himself with some fruits.

Eversince he started university when he was much younger, keeping fit and eating healthy good food have been a part of his life.

Somehow, he was nervous about meeting the woman now that she is awake, but excited at the same time.

'How is she going to react? Will she be angry with me?' thinking these thoughts, Kyungsoo cannot seem to rest. His hands started to become clammy, heart beating fast. It was ironic he is nervous of meeting her despite their lovemaking, he drank his orange juice in one gulp. His nervousness is not even comparable to when he has to give a speech in front of hundreds of people when he became the president of Do MultiCorp.

Almost 10 minutes have passed, Kyungsoo did not hear any noise from the bathroom. He knocked at the door and opened it, no one was there. His excitement turned into bewilderment. He frantically opened the adjoining wardrobes. 'Maybe she hid herself here!'

Ok, now he's thinking absurdly. He was panicking. Then he noticed the folded note on top of the bedside table.

"H,

      I already left once you'll read this, thanks for the breakfast and the aspirin, you really knew me that well :). Sorry I was not able to help you. I didn't shower anymore because Boss gave me only 45 min to get my ass to the office. Don't be disgusted, I'll do it in there! Remember the attire you've insisted on putting in my car boot? I think that's what I'm going to wear. And yes, I'll put make-up on don't you worry. Please bring my overnight bag and everything I might have left in here back to the condo. Will try to call you by lunch time. If not, I'll have some take away for our supper. Tell Y & S as well.

Kyungsoo folded the note and frowned. It only confirmed his presumptions, his mysterious woman entered his room by mistake. He then remembered the person he saw by the elevator.

Kyungsoo quickly run out of the room to the elevator with the note still in his hand, praying he will see her at the lobby. He knocked a man carrying some blueprints going inside the elevator. Kyungsoo immediately apologizes and retrieves the fallen prints.

"Thanks!" Yeol said. His mobile phone rang and answered it.

"Good morning, Sweety! Yes, I met Eunmi at the lobby. She is on her way to the agency. She said she left you a voicemail. Alright, I'll just give these prints to my assistant and we'll all have breakfast. Love you too, Sweet!" he hung up.

Kyungsoo cannot help but be amused at the man's conversation. He doesn't want to eavesdrop but they were alone inside the elevator. His mind wandered again to the woman he spent the night with.

Unbeknownst to him, the man in the elevator is talking about the same person he badly wanted to see and talk to.

As soon as the elevator opened, he dashed out frantically looking for her at the lobby, earning him some confounding stares from the other guests. He even checked the nearby coffee shop and the car park just in case. He returned crestfallen after some minutes.

Then it dawned on him, he will never know the identity of the woman from last night. He will forever remember her face, never her name. Kyungsoo felt sadness wishing he should have never left his hotel room.

He returned inside the hotel with his body slumped, regret eating his heart out.

Eunmi was rummaging through the insides of her car when Kyungsoo came out running from the hotel lobby. She sat on the driver's seat noticing the running man towards the carpark.

"I guess the gym is not enough for this man." she said to herself. Then like a bulb switching on, her face lighted up.

"Oh yes! He is the president of Do MultiCorp., Mr. Do Kyungsoo!" clicking her fingers. 'That's why he looked familiar. He's much more handsome up close.' Eunmi smiled at the thought.

She drove out of the hotel putting Do Kyungsoo at the back of her mind, anticipating the long day she's going to have at the office.
