CHAPTER 65

The sun has not yet risen but Eunmi is up already. She was not able to sleep properly ever since her brother and cousins talked to her about her situation. Their words kept repeating in her mind.

Also, another reason why she can't sleep is because her baby keeps kicking inside. The baby has been active since she left her husband but its double that now for the past few days.

She has been to the local hospital to see an OB last week for a check-up but everything seems alright.

One thing she regret from that check-up is not having her husband with her. She got jealous with the other women who were accompanied by their partners whilst having pre-natal check-up just like her. She remembered the times Kyungsoo will take his time off just to be with her during her check-ups with Dr. Chang. She wondered if he is missing her. Because she does miss him a lot even though it's hard for her to admit.

Her brother and her cousins are convincing her to come back stating Kyungsoo kept visiting them to find out how she was. Her husband has been begging them to tell him where she was staying and they feel very sorry for him. They told Eunmi to meet him just once to let him explain everything to her in person. They assured her everything she is thinking about Kyungsoo is not right and that he loves her so much.

Eunmi knew her brother and her cousins have always done the best in their heart for her, even when they were young. So seriously speaking to her like that convincing her to go back to her husband meant they believed him. Does that mean she was wrong on her thoughts?

To be honest, Eunmi has thought about Kyungsoo a lot, from day one he met him until she left. She cannot remember any occasion Kyungsoo did not show any inkling that she is not important to him. Actually all of his actions were always concerning about her, keeping her safe. He made her secure by telling her how much he loves her. His sweetness and his thoughtfulness seemed genuine. If he is just wanting their baby, he should have hidden that will well, but instead it was just lying in his desk in open as if it's not important.

With regards to Kyungsoo sleeping with her whilst she was drunk, Eunmi is now more accepting of the fact. Well, she has accustomed her mind in the first place that Kyungsoo is the only father of her baby even before they got married. In her mind, this knowledge was the reason why she isn't feeling scared or afraid. Maybe this is the reason why she did not feel violated, that it did not feel like she was actually raped. Because it was her husband all along.

No matter how much she tried to hate Kyungsoo, it's her love for him that perseveres instead. Does that mean she is now ready to accept him back?

Perhaps they are right.

Even when her bestfriends visited her and explained everything, all the misunderstandings are just false impression. The girls apologised to her and told her how they misses her, urging her to come back and settle everything with Kyungsoo because he is really having a hard time. She can't deny to herself, she did miss them.

And she can't deny as well that she misses her husband a lot. She is not sleeping right eversince she separated from Kyungsoo. She misses his smell, she misses the times he will hum to her until they fall asleep, she misses his annoying concerns to her, she plainly misses him more than she is admitting to herself.

Yes, she misses him so much that it hurts! It's not anymore about the will or sleeping with her unknowingly, it's her persisting love for him.

The realization hit her and she can't help but shed a tear.

Her baby kicked hard inside her tummy which was uncomfortable.

"Do you also misses your daddy, baby?" Eunmi whispered to her tummy whilst stroking it. "Don't worry, we'll see your daddy soon."
