Chapter 57

CHAPTER 57

Sonbi did not hang out with her fiancé and his friend anymore as planned and told Yeolie instead she needs to urgently speak with Hemi, which the latter agreed. After thanking and apologising to Lay, Sonbi parted ways with them.

She immediately called Hemi to meet at the condo.

Hemi was already in the condo when Sonbi arrived. She told her what she has found out right away.

"Hemi-ah, you won't believe what I have unearthed!" excitedly said Sonbi.

"What?"

"By the way, we will not be needing a PI service anymore so cancel it."

"Jongin has not given me the name yet so that's not a problem."

Now it was Sonbi's turn, "What?! That was more than a week ago! Does that mean I'm the only one doing the hard work for Eunmi's case?!" She incredulously said.

"Just quit it and tell me why you called me urgently." Hemi said whilst crossing her arms looking bored.

"Oh right! I know now who Eunmi-ah slept with on the night of your surprise bridal shower!"

Hemi's face showed excitement, "Who?"

"Do Kyungsoo!" said Sonbi without preamble.

"No kidding?" Hemi asked.

"Yes!"

Sonbi told to Hemi everything she learned from meeting Yeol's friend, Lay, Marriott's Hotel GM. Although she told her that they did not actually see Kyungsoo entering and leaving the room because the CCTV foootages were all deleted, but she is 100% definitely sure it was him from the billing charges document Lay had shown them.

"This must be the reason why my husband has not given me the PI service's name, he must have known all along!" Hemi outburst.

"I am guessing his bestfriends knew, Hemi-ah." Sonbi said. "I wondered if Jongdae too?"

"Should we tell Eunmi-ah about this?"

"Why did Kyungsoo hid it from her? It was making her crazy."

"He must have his reasons, Sonbi-ah. Anyways, they are both married now. But I will kill my husband!"

"Shall we confront them?" asked Sonbi.

"We shall!" answered Hemi.

"Let's interrogate the guys first before telling Eunmi." Sonbi said to which Hemi agreed.

Afterwards, they both decided to call Rena and informed her of what they have learned.

Rena was at the same time shocked and mystified
why Kyungsoo hid it from Eunmi.

Rena suggested to meet them at the office so the guys will not evade their questioning, anyways the afternoon was quiet and she thinks they are not that busy. Hemi will confront Jongin, whilst Sonbi will speak with Jongdae, and Rena with Baekhyun. Then  they will all speak with Kyungsoo.

United, the ladies all rolled in together, all for their beloved friend Eunmi. That will be the plan.

Rena was already at the lobby waiting for them. She told both ladies as soon as they arrived that unfortunately Jongdae and Kyungsoo are still stuck in a meeting elsewhere, but Baekhyun and Jongin are now back in their respective offices.

Rena suggested they all converged in one of the private conference rooms. She will make sure it will be off limits within the time they will be using it.

The three ladies looked like all are going to wage war. They all felt Eunmi was deceived and felt very sorry for her.

In their mind they are thinking, what if it is one of them will be in a predicament or something similar to what Eunmi had experienced? They all conclude the boys will just keep quiet about it without even thinking the torment it will cause them of not knowing.

After which, Rena told both Hemi and Sonbi to wait and she will bring both Baekhyun and Jongin to the conference room. Then she went back to her office and called Jongin's secretary first to pass the message to him that Director Byun needed Director Kim at the conference room.

After that she spoke to Baekhyun over the intercom to inform him, likewise, Director Kim wanted him for an emergency meeting.

Baekhyun went out of his office room then Rena followed few minutes after.

Jongin met Baekhyun by the corridor and asked each other the reason for the meet. Both were looking confused.

"My secretary said you wanted to have a meeting with me in here." said Jongin pointing at the conference room.

"Well, my secretary told me YOU needed me in this room for an emergency meeting?" Baekhyun responded in bewilderment.

Then both men looked at Rena who was walking towards the two.

"Just both go inside." Rena said in somewhat authoritive tone.

Jongin's one eyebrow raised but went inside. He was shocked to see his wife looking fiercely at him with arms crossed.

"Babe! Wh-" Jongin was surprised to see his wife sitting at the conference room, walked towards her however Hemi gestured with her hand to stop him, cutting him right away.

"Sit." Hemi icily told her husband pointing at the chair opposite her.

"You too, sit down." Rena firmly pointed to Baekhyun then sat opposite him next to Hemi.

Sonbi was just looking at them with her arms also crossed.

Both men looked mystified at each other.

"Are we in trouble or something?" asked Baekhyun with a tentative smile whilst looking at the stern faces of the ladies in front of them.

Yes, they are manly but when it comes to their women looking angry at them, they better be careful.

Hemi started, "Tell us, you all knew who is Eunmi's baby's real father, correct?"

Jongin folded his hands together in a nervous manner and looked at Baekhyun.
