CHAPTER 39

"So that's the plan. Everybody got it? Ladies you know what to do tomorrow ok." Jongin said to all of them gathered in the living room.

"Is Baekhyun already been informed, Jongin? Otherwise I have to call Rena as well!" Sonbi said obviously excited with Kyungsoo's plan.

"Kyungsoo has talked to them already. They will do the rundown of the set up at the hotel in the morning before you ladies do your part in the afternoon."

"Who's going to pick up our parents then?" Hemi asked.

"Me and Jongdae will fetch them since we won't all fit in one car. Luckily Eunmi's parents are here already. I guess Kyungsoo must have spoken to them by now." Jongin answered. "Sonbi, you and Yeol are in charge of the cake, probably you should call him now."

"We haven't informed them yet!" Hemi fumbled through her cellphone to call her parents.

"Oh, I need to call Yeolie!!!" squealed Sonbi.

"Shush! Eunmi might wake up, Sonbi-ah!" Hemi chided.

They were all in their mobiles making calls. Jongin was calling the lists of people Kyungsoo gave him who will attend the party tomorrow whilst Hemi and Sonbi called on their closest friends.

But where is Eunmi?

Well, she is just peacefully sleeping in her room unaware of the plan Kyungsoo and their friends were cooking up for tomorrow: her surprise engagement party!

Kyungsoo called Jongdae on his way back to the mansion in order to tell him about the surprise engagement party he'd like to give to Eunmi the next day.

He was actually surprised to hear from Jongdae that he was still at the mansion, not that he mind. Jongdae has stayed at the mansion on numerous occasions since he became his executive assistant, be it for work or hanging out together with his bestfriends.

Jongdae told him Eunmi's parents does not want him to leave until he arrives. Kyungsoo thanked him and started telling him about the plan. He asked him to co-ordinate with Jongin regarding his tasks for tomorrow.

Before Jongdae carried on with the plan, he asked Kyungsoo if he can have a word with him. Kyungsoo agreed but he wants to speak with Eunmi's parents first since the night is getting late.

"How are they? Have they eaten? I hope they were not uncomfortable here. Have you shown them their room?" Kyungsoo asked Jongdae as soon as he arrived upon meeting him by the main foyer.

His friend knew his way in and out of the mansion and is known by their housekeeper, the maids and drivers. Jongdae assured him they were taken good care since they arrived.

"They are still at the veranda, waiting for you." said Jongdae.

Kyungsoo followed Jongdae and greeted Eunmi's parents with a bow apologising for returning late.

Mr. and Mrs. Cha told him they don't mind at all since they knew how busy he was learning more from Jongdae and that they should be the ones apologising because they were imposing on him.

Obviously, Kyungsoo does not mind this instead told them they can stay at the mansion for as long as they want.

Kyungsoo offered them tea to drink which they declined but wanted to know how their daughter is instead. He assured them that Eunmi and the baby are alright, they just need to avoid stressing her furthermore or else it will frighteningly lead to a miscarriage.

Eunmi's parents were worried however asked Kyungsoo to look after her very well since they cannot be with her all the time, they still have the flower business to manage with Eumi's cousins after all. They are leaving him to take good care of Eunmi, which he promised to do so.
