CHAPTER 60

After contemplating whilst driving around, Eunmi decided to get her things from the mansion. She only packed her own possessions including her baby book record and left everything Do Kyungsoo had given her. She even left all of the ATM cards he gave her.

Eunmi then roamed her eyes around the bedroom, her gaze stopped on their wedding frame on the wall. She can't help but shed tears again questioning why Kyungsoo did such thing to her.

After one last look at their wedding picture, Eunmi regretfully closed the door and left the mansion crying without telling anything to the housemaids.

She arrived feeling haggard at their condominium expecting to be alone however she was glad to hear voices proceeding to the living room, expecting it to be from her bestfriends. However, the chatter came from different people as she gets closer. It seems like her bestfriends have company over.

She felt it is not a good time to discuss her dilemma with them if they have visitors, and she is not in the mood to see nor talk to other people.

Eunmi has decided in the end to confide with her bestfriends with what she read from that will. She badly needed their support. She needed their advice before leaving him. She can't bear handling the situation alone at this moment. Otherwise she will go crazy.

Eunmi was about to turn to go to her room and wait but stopped when she heard her name being mentioned. She now realized her bestfriends are talking to their other halves, those voices are talking about her and Kyungsoo. She stopped to listen.

Her besties promised that they will keep her request from their partners. So why are they talking about their plans of investigation with them?

"I still can't believe it. The odds of Kyungsoo-ah meeting Eunmi-ah when she was drunk." Hemi said.

"I know, it felt too good to be true." Rena agreed.

"Ladies, we had discussed about this. We leave Kyungsoo to tell his wife about this secret." Jongin said.

"Why aren't they here yet? You sure you called them, Baekhyun?" Sonbi asked.

"They will be here any minute now." Baekhyun responded.

"I'm trying to think how Eunmi-ah is going to react to this once Kyungsoo finally reveals his secret to her." Yeol said in deep thought.

Eunmi was stunned!

All of them are talking about not doing the investigation anymore, deliberating on the fact that Kyungsoo was the real father of her baby. Tears started streaming down on her face with this new piece of information she heard. Her mind is having difficulty understanding what is going on, warping her thoughts at every sentence she heard from them about her husband and her pregnancy.

The pang of familiar pain hit her. She showed herself to her friends surprising them in the end.

"Eunmi-ah..." is all the shocked Sonbi can only utter.

Everybody was dumbfounded, unable to say anything as Eunmi looked livid at all of them with hate in her tear-filled eyes. At the same time, Kyungsoo and Jongdae came entering the living room perplexed at the situation they arrived at.

Hemi and Rena stood up to come near Eunmi.

"Don't you all come near me!"

Her bestfriend stopped on their tracks whilst Eunmi backed away a few steps. That was the very first time they heard Eunmi speak in an icy tone to them, her stare was very cold, devoid of any emotions.

"Honey, what's wrong?" asked the alarmed Kyungsoo, who came near and tried to stop her by holding on her arm but got shocked at what happened next.
