Chapter 67

CHAPTER 67

It took Eunmi four hours to return to Seoul. As much as she wanted to come back quickly, she was uncomfortable due to her baby constantly kicking from inside. She had to stop in service areas two times to rest herself, get something to eat and speak with her baby.

Perhaps she should have called Kyungsoo to pick her up.

But then she remembered, they are not in good terms yet. This is what happens if she is tired, she forgets.

She also remembered he did not pick her call earlier on. By this time, he must be up now. How come he did not call her back? Did he not see her missed call?

So Eunmi opted to call her brother.

Xiumin oppa was not answering, wondering maybe he is busy for he usually answers right away when she calls him. She thought of calling Suho oppa or Sehunnie but then if her brother does not answer his phone that only meant they are all probably busy with work so she decided to continue to drive herself back.

Eunmi felt relieved as soon as she parked her car. She opted to go to the pad than going home to the mansion as it is much closer. She is very tired now and wanted to lie down. Her baby is still active inside but the kicking got lessened.

She thanked God for arriving safely but is nervously anticipating what will happen next as she took her luggage out from the car.

Eunmi noticed one of Kyungsoo's car is not in the car park.

'Maybe he is in the office.' she thought.

She did not know Kyungsoo had stopped going to Do Multicorp. eversince she left.

Eunmi anxiously opened the door. She sighed in relief as Kyungsoo did not change the passcode.

Does that mean she is still allowed in his life? That he is not angry with her?

"Oppa?!" said Eunmi. "Sehunnie, Suho oppa?! What are you guys doing here?!"

She was shocked to see his brother and cousins inside instead.

"Eunmi-ah!" Xiumin oppa said, he was about to pick up his bag but stopped upon seeing her.

"You are here! Who are you with? Are you with Kyungsoo?" Suho oppa asked as he come near to help her with the luggage.

Sehun ran to Eunmi and hugged her. "Noona!"

"We went to visit Kyungsoo yesterday but the other guys also visited and we all ended up sleeping here. Why are you back? No, I mean I am glad you are back! It's just that-" Xiumin hugged her sister after Suho hugged her.

"You all told me to come back, so here I am. But I am not with Kyungsoo." Eunmi said.

"I am happy that you are now back, dongsaeng." said Suho patting her shoulder.

"But Kyungsoo hyung is not here when we woke up earlier on. We all thought he came to see you." Sehun said.

"I left very early from Gangneung after speaking with Kyungsoo's dad. It took me long to arrive because I stopped twice to rest. I did not see him." Eunmi said with a hint of sadness. "I tried calling him but he did not answer."

"So you knew about his dad now. Kyungsoo left his phone here." Xiumin said, rummaging his bag and taking out the phone to give to Eunmi.

"Oh..." was the only word Eunmi utterred. "But how did you know about Kyungsoo's father?"

"We told you, we slept here last night and Jongdae received the call about him. Jongdae, Baekhyun, Jongin and Yeol left about an hour ago to see him at the hospital because Kyungsoo was not here. We were about to leave as well to go to Gangneung to drop Kyungsoo's phone and tell him about his father. We thought the two of you had already met and talked." Xiumin said.

"I tried calling the apartment because we know your mobile is still off, but you did not pick up. I thought maybe you just went out for a walk. Why did you not call us to pick you up?" Suho asked.

"I called Minseokie oppa but since you were not answering I did not call any of you anymore thinking you are all busy with work." Eunmi said whilst taking the bottled water offered by Sehun. "Thank you, Sehunnie."

"Bian, my mobile was silent." Xiumin said whilst looking at his phone.

"Let me try calling the apartment, your husband must still be there." Suho said.

"Why is he going to see me?" Eunmi asked.

"Noona, are you dense?! Of course, he wants you back! He already planned to see you today, explain everything and beg you to come back." Sehunnie said as he rolled his eyes. "I really can't understand you two! There is no denying it, you two love each other but you both are just hurting yourselves for no reasons at all." He shook his head.

Eunmi stroked her tummy as she felt the baby kicked inside her whilst hearing what Sehun said.

"The phone is just ringing." said Suho as he hung up. "Perhaps he left already."

"What Maknae said is right, Eunmi-ah. I am really happy you are now here but due to these misunderstandings, look the two of you are trying to find each other, missing one another. Don't go anywhere anymore and just wait for him to come home, arachi?" Xiumin softly said whilst draping his arm into her shoulder.

Eunmi just nodded but is noticibly sad for she does not know where her husband is.

"Don't worry, Eunmi-ah, everything will be alright." comforted Suho. "Is there anything you want, are you hungry?"

"I'm just tired from the drive and I wanted to lie down. The baby keeps kicking inside of me and it's very uncomfortable." said Eunmi.

"Just rest then, noona, will buy you some food before we leave." Sehun said.

She was assisted by her oppas to stand up from the sofa.

"Aigoo! Look at your tummy, it's so big now like you are about to pop!" Xiumin said which earned him a slap on his arm.

They all laughed.

"Oppas, please buy me chicken feet ok?" Eunmi asked them in hopeful voice.

"Arasseo, arasseo. Go and rest." Suho said whilst Xiumin nodded and Sehun smiled.

"See you, noona, rest well." Sehun said waving his hand.

Eunmi said, "Thank you."

"Anything for our dongsaeng." Xiumin said.

Eunmi smiled at them before closing the bedroom door.
