CHAPTER 44

They all put the dresses on and were very impressed how it perfectly fits them. They admire each other complimenting how the dresses portrays their personalities.

High heeled shoes were also available for them as each choose what fits with their dress. Then Hemi called her standby make-up artists to start styling their hairs and make-up in the hairdressing part of Hemi's boutique. Jewellery and clutch bags are also available to choose from.

Hemi advice Eunmi to wear a pair of diamond yard drop earrings in platinum partnered with a diamond bracelet with similar design.

Actually, those exquiste  jewelleries were from Kyungsoo. It's his gift to Eunmi and was delivered that morning to the boutique earlier on.

Rena chose a rose gold choker and a pair of ball hook earrings. It suits her since her hair was styled in a high ponytail. Sonbi has taken a full set of gold jewelleries in high tide design. Her long hair was styled in fishbone braid to one side only. Whilst Hemi decided to just wear a pair of silver diamond earrings and bracelet of almost the same design to the diamente buckle in her dress.

All of them look very glamorous and elegant once the make-up artists finished dolling them up. Each of them are very pretty on their own right.

Eunmi's bestfriends complimented her.

"You look so lovely Eunmi-ah! If only Kyungsoo can see you right now." Sonbi said.

"As always, you make us look second grade compared to you." Rena chimed in.

"Come on, ladies, that's preposterous! You are all very beautiful and elegant. What are you saying, Rena?" Eunmi incredulously said looking at them all.

"She is right, you are glowing today Eunmi-ah!" Hemi seconded.

Actually she never thought of herself that pretty who can be compared to her friends, she never believed when other people are telling her she is beautiful.

Eunmi looked back at the mirror in front of her assessing herself. She is starting to agree with her friend's praises and it always amazes her whenever she dresses up for an occasion. Her transformation is unbelievable. Her hair was exquisitely styled in soft waves. She knows for sure she can be lined next to her friends' beauty at that moment and admitted she is glowing.

Perhaps its her pregnancy. People do say that most of the time to pregnant ladies.

"Ladies, its time. Our ride must be outside by now." said Sonbi to all of them whilst looking at her watch. She walked towards the front entrance followed by the others.

Eunmi saw a white limousine parked outside. She looked at her friends with both eyebrows raised enquiringly.

"Tadah! Of course we will ride in style to match our outfits." Hemi said excitedly.

Obviously it is still part of their plan concocted by none other than Do Kyungsoo.

Eunmi cannot comprehend her bestfriends' trip at the moment so she just ride along. Anyways, she was esctatic and excited as well. She is again hanging out with her besties.

The driver of the limousine, wearing a white suit and white gloves, went out and opened the door for all the ladies to get in. Once boarded, Eunmi asked where they are going.

Rena answered, "Of course, to a 5-star hotel to partayyy!" She said this whilst pumping her hand up the air.

All of them were giggling and laughing at the same time.

Soon they arrived at the said hotel and went up to the balcony bar on the 25th floor overlooking the beautiful city below.

Everbody who saw them inside the hotel where staring at them admiringly, heads turned as they walked.

It is Eunmi's first time at the hotel. The ambience of the bar was serene, lighting is minimal but not too dark with some circular tables and high chairs dotted around the space that looked really natural and green like they are in an enclosed garden. There are some sofas and comfortable chairs lined next to the walls covered with perhaps artificial plants and all tables are decorated with squared glass ornament containing lighted candles inside. There is also a soft jazz music coming from the mini stage where a piano was being played.

They were the only people at the bar when they entered apart from the pianist and the bar tender. 

Eunmi does not know this but the entire place was reserved for their engagement party.

They chose a table almost at the middle of the garden whilst Sonbi ordered them their drinks. Eunmi was only served with juice because of her condition whilst the rest sipped on their cocktails.

The ladies just chatted with each other for sometime. Eunmi was really enjoying herself.

"Please excuse me," said Rena suddenly, "I need to go to the loo."

"Me too!" Hemi and Sonbi said in unison as both stood up.

Eunmi just laughed. "What, are you all going to leave me alone here?"

"We'll be back quickly, don't worry. I just can't hold my bladder anymore." said Hemi looking back as the three walked out of the balcony bar.

So there she was left alone in the bar, admiring the place on her own.

She was wondering why it is nearly the end of the day and yet there are no people coming into the bar? Maybe the place is only for club members, she wonders who is among her friends a member?

Maybe it's Rena, she would know by now if Hemi or Sonbi is a member.

She looked at her phone inside her tiny clutch bag. No messages. It was almost 6pm and was contemplating to message Kyungsoo but held herself. Although she is wondering why he never called again or even texted him once to check how she was throughout the day, remembering how clingy he sounded in the morning he called her. Eunmi was a bit disappointed but just thought he must be busy at work or perhaps looking after his dad at the hospital. Anyways, they will see each other tonight at their condo.

In the end she decided to text him telling where she is at the moment and asking what time he will be coming to the condo. If Kyungsoo replied to her message, perhaps she will ask him to pick them up since her car was left at Hemi's boutique.

She again felt guilty because she really wanted to visit Kyungsoo's father today yet she succumbed to her bestfriends' persuasion. Kyungsoo might think she does not care about his father. Though she admitted to herself she is enjoying this time with her friends. She really promised herself that it will be her only agenda for tomorrow.

Quarter of an hour already passed but Rena, Sonbi and Hemi have not returned yet. She has almost finished her glass of juice. Eunmi stood up from her chair to find her bestfriends but got surprised instead upon seeing a very handsome man striding confidently towards her.

"Oppa?!"
